Hi Everyone, I began "reading" The Wheel of Time in early 2009 when I took up listening to audiobooks as a hobby. I somehow ended up here a couple months ago; it probably had something to do with trying to find out the answer to one of the mysteries of the series via google. Anyway, I've seen a lot of interesting posts here and hope to make some good contributions to the various discussions.

Hello DM'ers, whether you be of sound mind or no, whether you be beautiful or have been assaulted with an ugly stick, whether an inbred sub-human or of pure pedigree stock, I will harken unto you. I will even accept your undying adulation, which I hasten to add, is inevitable. I have been a shirker, lurker and have even admired, from afar and in silence, some of the utterings which have been cast on the earlier incarnation of Dragonmount. I have even been exasperated at the narrow minded views of some, and enlightened by the intelligent meanderings of the more fruitful minds among you. So, I shall end this introductory missive with a heartfelt howdy, good day …

Hello everyone, This is my first readthrough of the series and am loving every second of it. Well, Crossroads of Twilight was a bit rough, but Knife of Dreams more than made up for it. I am currently up to date including the recently released prologue for the Towers of Midnight and can't wait to see how and which storylines are going to start coming together. Anyway, just wanted to introduce myself Ihsahn

I am a 20 year old male nursing student, who loves to read or listen to great stories. I am an avid consumer of ideas, fiction, and lore. Im extremely multifaceted and can enjoy most any genre of "thing" but I am particular on quality. That being said, I watch anime, read manga, read fictional literature, watch BBC, and play PS3. I am also a thesbian (particularly musicals), a hiker, an Eagle Scout, a ballroom dance and etiquette instructor, and a mixed martial arts fan. I enjoy the arts from the fine to the low. I am also a White Wolf RPG player, in particular Exalted and Hunter: The Vigil, but would love to play Changeling or Werewolf. Im told my external personality is…

Hi to the community. My name is Nigel, but don't hold that against me. I've been a massive WOT fan since I woke up at a friend's pad all hungover and picked up his copy of Eye of the World way back in the early 90's. Ever since book 5, I've waited with bated breath for each new hardcover book in the series to come out, and have read the series at least ten times over. Maybe less than some and more than others, but whatever. I'm a fan just like the rest of you. I will enjoy sharing my thoughts/predictions/etc with the rest of the community as much as I'll enjoy reading all of yours. Thanks to the people running this site for creating a forum that I can do so. Th…

Hello everyone! I'm new here to DM, came over a bit late from wotmania. It seems that everytime a new book is about to be released I find myself pulled back to the forums of theories and other musings to entertain myself a bit. I'm on what seems like my ga-gillion reread of the first couple books and will try to force myself through them to actually make it to the end this time. The last actual book that I read I believe was Winter's Heart, and it had been such a long time since I read the stuff in the middle of the series that I figured that I better read them again so I know what was actually going on at the end. I just thought that I would say hi and hope…

Hey Dragonmount I'm new here on Dragonmount but not to WoT. Been reading the series since 2000, over and over again. Here mainly for the social groups and RPing. Was on Silklantern before they closed, if anyone remembers them.

so I've been on dragonmount since the late 90s, but I've never officially set up an account or anything. Instead, I always just posted anonymously or created random accounts that I can't remember to add my two cents to a discussion or theory thread. But, since the new website is up and running, and I'd rather play around on dragonmount than study for dental school, I've decided to get my s*** together and come up with a decent community showing. Well, here it is. I love WOT and I know a ton about it... probably way more than any normal person should, and I love this community. So here I am, and I'll be around if anyone needs anything. I'm a dental student at the Universit…

Hey all. I just signed up for this forum. I think I was a member years ago but have long since forgotten usernames and passwords. I previously was a RGPer on the now gone realms of imagination (Gavin Sedia, Blue Ajah, for any of you who used to post there). I am a big fan of Brandon Sanderson even before he got tapped to finish WOT. Anyway, like the new site. DissidentPJ

Hello! I'm brand new to WoT online fandom. I'm a little nervous. I started reading the books in college. I had reached a lull in the fantasy series I was reading and asked for a recommendation from a guy nearby. He recommended the book he was reading - one of the Wheel of Time series. I eagerly bought the first book. That was probably in 1999 or 2000. I was expecting it to be a trilogy of books. LOL! I was very happy with the series until I got to about book 8 or 9 and then I stopped reading for a long time. At one time I bought all the books and reread the series but still - though I owned them all - I don't think I got past book 9. It wasn't until after I…

So I finally registered after years (like almost 8) of lurking (first at WOTmania, and then at DM and Theoryland). I'm only here for 2 things- to talk about what might happen in the next book and once it's out, to discuss. Oh and if there is ever a clever WoT t-shirt, I'd be in for that too. You can never have too many obscure t-shirts for the gym. Is it November yet?

I was cruising around the boards and realized that I hadn't done an introduction thread in this area! So yes, I'm here. Fear me! Or don't, you don't have to. It's more of a general suggestion that a command. *Shrugs* For those of you I've yet to have the pleasure of meeting, I've only been on the site for a few days now, but I've known about it for quite some time. One of my friends has been trying to get me to join for years, and she finally wore me down to the point where I swallowed my pride and attempted to register. Imagine my amusement when I found that registering had been turned off during the move to DM 8! Long story short, I grumped and waited unti…

So, after something like two weeks of waiting, I'm finally able to register for and log into this shiny new DM. :D It all started when I had a whim to do some formal RP'ing and came to visit the lingering DM from before... now, a bio is submitted, and I'm all kinds of ready to go! :D Yeah... I sound hyper. :( And might abuse smilies... but I'm excited. ;)

Hey every one Toral alCaar here.I'm a boy and I am 18 years old. I started reading the wheel of time when I was 12 when my Dad was working as a garbage man and found a new copy of The Great Hunt while sorting the trash at the dump. I was instantly hooked and started reading non stop. I read it all the way to Mississippi from Dallas, I was immersed in the vivid descriptions and interesting characters. after that I couldn't just stop at that book I had to read them all. I guess I got lucky because I never had to wait for a book until The Knife of Dreams. While I was waiting for it to come out I found out about Dragonmount while searching for Wot websites on google. Immediat…

Hello all, Looks like my old info got trapped by the Finns. Not gone forever, just needing to be resurrected and returned. I may yet have a part to play. Been following the series since 1991. Got to the point where we were planning on naming our kids after characters (Perrin never arrived, but Morganna Elayne is now 10). Lucky enough to have a signed copy from Jordan's visit to Victoria BC, and to have won a bookmark on the web hunt for Knife of Dreams, but not lucky enough to have met RJ or get to one of the Cons (need one on the West Coast, people). The day I found out RJ had passed, I ensured I had the series in HC, as I was on my second paperback versi…

Hello! My name is... well never mind that but you can call me Nymirah! I'm so happy to have found a great WoT community since I've been a huge fan of the books since I discovered them many years ago. I'm not actually sure how many times I read the series through but needless to say on my tippy toes in anticipation for the Towers of Midnight release. I suppose I should tell you a bit about myself, well let's see... I'm female, 25, married, no kids just cats! I have a wide variety of interests that include cooking, nature, history, travel and of course - reading! I'm a student of interior architecture which with the new semester just begun, keeps me quite busy but …
