Hey, This is Shady. I've been part of the WoT community off and on for the last six years or so. I believe it started out at AgeofLegends.org After a bit I was actually Aginor. I guess people weren't too happy with that because shortly after that the site shut down. :) A bit after that though I became a snow slave. I had this name there on the White Ajah OOC boards. Actually it started out as Shadar al`Moridin and then evolved into Shady Death. I was also part of the Brown Ajah OOC boards on ezboard as well, just chillin all over the place. Kinda a bit about me. I came back lookin for some old friends. If y'all know me message me. You guys rock. Shady

Hey all! I haven't been on here in a while, but hopefully some of you remember me as 'Faile'- I even used my old profile pic even though I don't look like that anymore (that might have something to do with the fact that that pic is 5 years old, and I was 16 at the time). But I'm back, and I plan on staying. Hopefully I can reconnect with some of you guys and connect with some new friends. Love and Hugs, Zosime - once a.k.a. Faile

Hello everyone ;D I got into WoT years ago with a "taster book" a friend loaned me. it was the first 19 chapters of TEotW and as soon as i finished reading it i went out and bought the first 6 books(that was all that was released at the time). With tGS release i decided to go back and reread the series again, which is taking me a long time, and started picking up on many things id missed the first time through so i came online to see what others had written about thier thoughts on the books and found this great site. Its nice to see many people with the same thoughts and theories as ive had. at least its nice to know im not the only mad one around here anyway.... w…

My name is Gwen and I like all sorts of things. I guess I could specify what those things are, but I like to form friendships slowly. That, and I don't think anybody really cares. The point is we all like WoT and that is good enough. Anyway, I'm living in Vegas now, and I want to meet people with similar interests, so if anybody here is from this interesting town, please send me a message. I don't care what age, sex or race you are. lol, I know this sounds kinda creepy (and desperate), but it's okay because I am actually creepy (and desperate!). I'm glad I found an online community dedicated to the awesomeness of WoT. I've been a fan for years, but I never …

So I would like to interduce myself: I started reading the series during a long field problem in Korea. I went to the book store, picked the biggest book I could find to keep me busy during the long boring days after initial set up. Unfortunately I picked up "Fires of Heaven", unfortunate because I was done with it a day and a half into a 33 day exercise. I have been hooked ever since. I was able to pick up books two through four and six some time during the exercise so I was able to kill some of the boredom. I anxiously await the release of ToM, pre-ordered with Amazon. I will have to refrain from reading the boards once the release happens to avoid the sp…

I prolly made a hello post 4 years ago but since i have disappeared....I'm back and with a vengeance. Just wanted to say hi to everyone. I'm currently in the process of getting a development team together to retell the eye of the world in a graphical rpg setting. I will be around doing research and relying on you diehard WoT fans to give me your opinions, advice and any lore info you have. Hope to find the support here!Hope to make some friends on this long journey

Been using the forum more and more lately, so decided to register finally. ;D Finished a reread a while ago, now I just skim through the books trying (unsuccessfully) to figure out things, or just because some scenes are worth rereading a lot! :D Hope you treat me fair.

Hi Guys and Gals! Read the Wheel o Time series ages ago, but with the release of the new book, i decided to re-read them again(4th time :)) However, i could not figure out who had killed Asmodean, so with a bit of googling, found your (multiple) threads with it in, so thought i would register :) see you around S

Hello everyone, My name is Keith and I started reading The Eye of the World in 1998 during my junior year in High School and finished A Crown of Swords before starting college in 2000. Unfortunately my work load while in college prevented me from reading the rest of the series. I repeatedly tried to continue reading over the next few years, but was never able to get very far. It wasn't until the beginning of 2008 that things settled down and I got the time to finish reading the series. It was when I finished reading Knife of Dreams that I went online to find out when the next book was being released that I found the dreaded news. I learned that Robert Jordan had…

Hello all. This is a very great site! Lots of nerds like myself it seems. I have read alot of the post and you fine folks really impress me with how deep you go in the material :) Keep it up.. The reason i stumbled over this page : I`m currently towards the end of the 11. Wot book, Knife of dreams. So I followed Mat and Tuon through the forest to rejoin the Band of the Red Hand. When they see Mat they all start singing. Ah, yes the song :) And i just sat there and re read the 2 versers, imagening how it would sound like in the middle of the forest at night when many thousands soldiers singing "There`s some delight in ale and wine, And some…

Hi all! :) I'm not sure how much I should write about myself, so I'll try to keep it short! I met my partner nearly four years ago, and he introduced me to the books. He had the first four I think, and I ate them up in no time, then tried to get the others. I finished The Gathering Storm two days ago, which inspired me to find a community where I could discuss the books, since my partner is so far behind in reading, I'll just most likely ruin it for him! ;D I love fantasy and magic and swords and I love trying new books, so I'm really glad this series was dropped into my lap. I love all of it, even if I do think that all of the women and all of the men conf…

Hello, I'm new here to the site and just wanted to make an introduction. I'm currently reading the WoT series and am on The Path Of Daggershopefully I can get caught up and finish book 12 soon. A bit about me, I enjoy sports most of all basketball, I am also into gaming I own an Xbox 360 and I also enjoy MMORPG's (currently waiting for SWTOR), and obviously reading. I'm new to this site but I have much forum expierence, I'm a member of a good chunk of forums regarding my interests and I also was a Moderator at aionsource (an Aion fansite for the MMORPG) but I resigned my position upon leaving the game. Hopefully that will do for a first impression I'm sure I will be s…

Hello there. ^^ It's nice to meet you all. I am currently on book 5 and loving it, though Rand is starting to come off as a bit whiny at the moment. :D I had stopped by to register while the forums were under maintenance, so some of you may have seen me in the community boards before this. Some of the things I love most about the series so far are: The Aiel (Come on....warrior women always rock! :D) The stories about Ogier groves tinkers Faile Brown Ajah Tough Two Rivers folk The whole idea of life cycles and the wheel There is such a wealth of interwoven folklore within the series. I even recognize some real folklore changed and re-molded in…

Long time lurker here but finally decided to register :) Just finished a full reread of the series and now I'm at a loss of what to read before ToM comes out :( I started reading WoT when WH came out in paperback. I read EotW and was just awestruck with the quality of the descriptive writing and just how rich and detailed RJ's world was. I had never seen world building on this level. I remember first reading about the Aiel and being blown away with just how detailed and meticulous he was in creating their history and culture. I remember coming across the old WoTFAQ website and reading the theories there especially for Asmodean, switched on some lights for me. The…

Hello, I'm Flying. I'm from Australia, so the 'another Aussie' thread made me smile. *so used to seeing almost only Americans online* I'm not a long time fan, only about... three years or so now. But, I am getting terribly excited to see the series wrapped up. I think I was a member here once... but, 'twas a long time ago. I was shy and very rarely posted, and I've forgotten what u/n I used, so you're stuck with Flying :D Which doesn't relate at all here, but kinda did in the fandom I picked it up, so yeah. *waves*

Hello All, My name is Chris and I live in Philly. I am 54 years old and have enjoyed the series from the beginning. I was very sad when Mr. Jordan passed, and was sure then that the books would go incomplete. After reading the latest one, it seems that Brandon has done an outstanding job picking up the flag and carrying on. Lets hope the next books are just as good. I guess I am a lurker as I love to read all the ingenius theories and ideas folks come up with on here. I will try to participate more in the future. The theory I have been kicking around in my head lately is that Galad can or is capable of channeling and this contributes to him being so uptight. We…

I originally created this profile just so I read the ideas posted on the wheel of time discussion boards coz I really enjoyed reading what other fans think about the books and all the theories about how the series will close. I realized that I was being selfish so I've decided to stop playing the Spider and come out of my shadow after 2 weeks. My name is Gomez and I am an international student studying Economics in Perth, Western Australia. I started reading the wheel of time books back in the eighth grade and I am quite addicted to the books now. When am not dozing off in lectures, I usually engage in beverage appreciation at pubs, play guitar and occasionally write a se…

Hi, I am Sivin, and I obviously just joined, I read the books around christmas time, and loved them. Unfortunately I read all 12 in about one month, so I have been unable to do much reading until recently and the mere mention of the series made me curl up and weep (I think I might have overloaded my mind), and now I want to hang out and chat with other fans of the series.

Hi! I'm so glad I found this comminity! I first started reading WoT back in my senior year of high school (13 years ago - yikes!) I eventually got as far as Path of Daggers, but life took over while waiting for Winter's Heart to be released. So, I restarted the series again 3 years ago, getting just as far as The Shadow Rising before my daughter was born. I just picked up The Eye of The World... again. I'm hoping someone can point me to a good comprehensive summary for each book before I go and FINALLY start reading Winter's Heart... and beyond. I don't have much time to read anymore, so I really don't want to have to read 6000+ pages in order to get reacqua…

Hey all Im new to this site and trying to find my way around here. You could say that Im new to the series but ive actually been reading them since about 2003. I have read the first 3 books numorous times but there always seems to be a lifechange that keeps me from reading and when I go back I start with the first. So I know the first 3 very well lol. I am actually about to start the fourth for the first time and Im really excited about that. There are so many things that leave you on the edge of your seat at the end of The Dragon Reborn that I dont see how I've made it this long without starting the fourth. But I do look forward to making my way around th…

I am new to this sight and just wanted to say "hello" to everyone ;) I am in love with the WOT series and can't believe it took me so long to actually start reading, but when I started it has been non stop for the last few months!! I am just now into the middle of Knife of Dreams and can't seem to put the book down! I am excited to finish the series, but sad at the same time because I don't want it to end! Robert Jordan was amazing! May he forever RIP!!

A friend of mine told me about this Forum, so I figured I'd drop in and say hi. Hi, I'm stout and bearded and enjoy telling other people why they should read The Wheel of Time. No idea what I'll be posting on, but there must be something. I'll probably pop questions out regarding my second read-through of the series. November's closer than it looks.
