Hi, all. I just finished tGS a few days ago and felt in serious need for some WoT community (this is what I get for being in grad school--too busy to read a book I'd been waiting years for until the academic year ended, ugh). As a lurker for many years over at wotmania, I elected not to repeat that over here. So here I am, and I say: hey. My WoT pieties: --Nothing Lan or Min could do would ever be truly wrong. --I don't mind repetition that establishes character traits--Nynaeve tugs her braid/Rand, Mat, and Perrin think the others are better with women, etc.--but seriously, the weather? is screwed up. I seriously get it before it's mentioned fifty times per bo…

Buenas tardes a todos! I have been reading the Wheel of Time series (and re-read, and re-read, and re-read...) for as long as I can remember, and have been following the online forums since the early WoTMania days. Honestly, I must admit that I have been using you all to do the critical thinking for me. From time to time a thought comes to me that can be considered unique and worth a post, but for some reason I have not been moved to make an account and do so. ...Until now. Hopefully I can actually stay relatively active, but for starters I will head over to the Towers of Midnight Speculation Thread and make my first point. Hope to dialogue and debate with you a…

Hi everyone i've been meaning to sign up to this site for some time now i've read all the WoT books several times now and just finished tGS liked it over all but disliked some of the plot twists we shall see how it turns out....anyway my favorite characters are Rand Matt Logain Lan Bryne(even tho he is a general for the WT now still a great captain) and Bashere. I find Rand's recent battle with Semirhage and the power he used to be an interesting twist in the plot we shall see where it goes i hope to have long discussions here with some of you as i have been reading these books for years now and would love to finally get some input from other fans. And as always Sura…

So i have been rereading thru the cycle a third time so I can read TGS fresh. I found myself wondering if there were someothers out there that would help me answer some questions I have had. I did not believe there were this many ppl out there that shared my love of these books.Well thanks for that.....But as a sci fi/medievil fan I have to say this... too much desciption! What i mean is this, I dont need to know every damn scrap of lace some guy or girl has on. I love the story but I find myself skipping over lots of trival filler.I"m sure lots of you will balk at my statement but thats just me. Anyways, I am soooo happy that they found a authur to finish this great …

Hi, just popping in to introduce myself. I have been a wheel of time fan for many years and have read and re-read the books at least 3 times, I cant get enough of it. Favorite characters = Rand, Mat, Demandred, Bashere and Logain, Nynaeve, Min, Birgitte. MOIRAINE!!! Dislike Characters: Egwene, Cadsuane, Perrin, Faile, Fain. Not sure what else to put, talk to me if you want to discuss anything within the book, i believe i have some intresting theories that make sense (at least to me) and would like to hear other opinions

My names is James, and here is a short history of my relation to Dragonmount. Well I started reading the Wheel of Time when I found this red hardcover book that was missing its dust jacket. I was hooked after reading EOTW and quickly read the rest of the series. I soon found this website and signed up on the forums. Things didnt really work out then, my life was kinda rocky and I didnt have the time or will to stay with the forums. I havent been on here in a couple years, but now that everything has to get better I come here again in the hopes of falling in love with WOT again. MY obsession with it and Tolkien has been on hold for a while and I actually havent gotten a ch…

Firstly, Hello to everyone. My Name is Tony, I'm from England and a mad WOT Fan. I was a relative latecomer to the WOT Universe... Early 2003 (Just after CoT was released) and at my local bookstore had a promotion, so i got the first three books, and then got hooked. Ive been skulking in the shadows around this forum for about 5 years or so, and thought it was high time to Sign-up and say, well..... Hello :) Secondly, a thank you...... For keeping my relatively sane between the releases of KOD and TGS. Kind regards Tony

Hello everyone! A little about me: My name is Tyson and although I lived most of my life in the states I now currently reside in Japan. I am a HUGE WoT fan and since I am about to start rereading all of the books (Plus reading a couple for the first time) I figured I would join some message boards and meet some like-minded people. A little about my job: I've been in the Air Force for a few years now working on Communications/Navigations systems and currently plan on crosstraining into Military Intelligence sometime mid 2011. A little about my forum warrior experience: I've been an active member of various internet forums for about a year …

I just managed to start reading these forums and wow! Tons of information. I've read through all the books and up to LoC twice. I'm so glad I found these forums. The information will for sure answer all my questions, theories, etc to my favorite book series. Now my question to you all. Do I finish my second read of the series or go straight to a second read of The Gathering Storm? I'm looking forward to your replies and the vast amounts of knowledge presented on this site.

New member here. I just finished reading tGS a couple of days ago and had to come check out the site. I've had you all bookmarked for a long while now - but seeing as I'm a chronic-acute spoilerphobe I've stayed away from just about any WoT online resource. Boy, do I have a lot to read here, wow. I'll probably stick to tGS's board for now, just to get my feet wet. Any suggestions as to some other fun/interesting boards to check-in on? Glad to finally be able to fully join the ranks of the Dragonmount. :)

Hello, stone Dog here. I'm currently rereading the series in anticipation of the end finally being in sight, having started reading it in the early 90's. At the moment I'm half way through Path of Daggers. It's amazing how much I'd forgotten in the last few years, and I'm glad I went back to the start, as I'd be lost if I just picked up the new one. I hope to find some like minded people on these boards.

;D I've never been a part of one of these groups before so I hope I enjoy it as much as I do the books. My son bought me the Gathering Storm for Christmas but I didn't want to start it until I had reread the whole series. I now spend my time thinking of peoples dress and way of behaving in a WOT context! Just loving the latest book but worried that I will finish it too soon! One of my reasons for joining the group was because I decided that I wanted some visuals of all the characters. I would also love to see some interpretations of the various clothing and hairstyles of the different countries - Taraboner, Domani, Ebou Dari etc. I have been looking at some of the amazing…
