Introduce Yourself

Hi, I'm new obviously. I started reading the books as an escape when I was in a troubled time in my life about eight years ago and I really haven't put them down for more than three months since. When I finished the latest book I take a break and start over again. I'm about to read KoD again just trying to wait so it's paced out for TGS's release. My favorite male character is Mat(late in series) and Perrin up until book 4 or so. My favorite female character starts as Nyneave/Min a definate tie, and works into Egwene though Min is still a close second. Just finished The Eye of the World and im eager to find out what happens in The Great Hunt and so on. its a great new world and Im glad to see so many other ppl taken away with these books as i already am. im known to get addicted to forums so hopefully this will be the first of many topics and many posts!! I have been reading the books for over 7 years now. Have finished KoD last week. Can't wait till the next book comes out. Also I have been surfing the net for WoT stuff for quite a while. Hey Forum Folks, Just started the Wheel of Time Series last October and have gone through all 11 books twice (and New Spring and much of the internet material) since then and I'm just eager for more. I'm amazed at how much stuff I missed the first time, but I'm really surprised by other people's interpretations of what I thought was pretty obviously one thing (but upon further review, could easily be another)... Hey all! My name is Chris and I finally created an account today after lurking for the last few weeks. I first discovered the Wheel of Time back in 1993 when I was a junior in High School. From then on I eagerly devoured every book as it was released. I haven't liked all of them, but the series as a whole represents the best fantasy epic I've ever read. Hi I'm new here. I started reading the series a few months ago and I'm in the middle of book 6 now. I absolutely love it. Sometimes I think it goes a little slow but when I think back, I find that actually a lot has happened, also in the slower parts of the book. I've read many reviews saying that the last few books are really bad. I'm getting a bit scared because I hate it when something starts very good and ends up bad, like a great TV series that after a few seasons becomes cheap or gets cancelled. I devored everything WoT I could find since then. Howdy Folks, I have randomly been browsing the site and keeping myself up to date on the eventual release of TGS since I finished KoD right after it came out. I began reading WoT probably 8 years ago and am now reading through it for the third time, currently ending Crossroads of Twilight. I have run into one problem while reading the series this time through. While reading Fires of Heaven, there was a print error in the book I had purchased. Since I do not have the book with me I can not be exact but pages 200 and 209 or 211, I believe, are the same page. I'm new and it seems that new ppl create a new topic so..... I've read all of the books at least 3 or 4 times, I think I've read LoC more then 10. That's my favorite. Rand and Lan are two of my favorite male characters. Aviendha is my favorite female character. I'm also a Sword of Truth fan, I hear some of you are critical of them but I still like them and I also post on Sword-of-truth.com forums. I also have a deviantart account and am learning to do photomanipulations, I write some poetry and enjoy long walks on the beach...lol.

heyyy, all oldies and new ones. I've been on and off from early 2001 hehehe. I've had a few different characters. My first username was Mordak if that maybe ring a bell in someone's ear.
