I've been lurking here for a couple of months now, and finally decided to join up and show myself. :) I've been reading WoT since 1997. A little about me: I'm a senior in college, in my last semester (thank the Creator), hoping to get into law school for the fall. I'm from Kansas and, yeah, that's about it. Glad to be here!

Honestly, I have just started reading the Wheel of Time (probably about 3 months) and I'm a REALLY slow reader, so im only on the third book. I fell in love with the series on like Chapter five of The Eye of the World. I'm realy trying not to stumble onto information I shouldn't know yet (wouldn't want to ruin the series :o) but i'll try to stick my opionin in know and then. (Can't wait for the MOVIE!)

ok, that subject line was bloody corny. anyway, i am from india, and i have to say, this website kicks ass. ive never found a site for wot with such amazing and knowledgeable fans. i MEAN it :). about me: hmm, i like very few tv shows that come now, the one i like most is the big bang theory, i guess my fav. ones are friends and coupling. I am not soo much into movies, i watch only those with good reviews ;). I love heavy metal, esp. iron maiden, judas priest, black sabbath, i also love progressive metal, esp. Dream Theater, Blotted science etc. i haven't really met a lot of wot fans in school, as i know the situation, there are 3 ( and yeah, that was 3) its rea…

Hey everyone, I've been coming here for about a month now, lurking around the forums and whatnot, and finally decided to put a post up here on the newbie forum. I'm currently working on my 2nd readthrough of the series (about 1/2 way through tSR atm) and I'm noticing a ton of stuff this time around that I didn't before. This looks like a really fun and informative community to join so I look forward to becoming more active on the forums (possibly even joining an Org ;) ) as I progress through the later books and have questions/ideas.

I love the WOT series, i have read them all twice and i keep finding things out and now i can see that the story is much much more deeper than i first realised there are so many threads in the story and i keep looking over forums about WHO Taim really is and stuff like that. I read an article where Branderson told some things about the manuscripts and stuff Robert Jordan had left behind and Branderson said that in one of the notes stood that the KILLER OF ASMODEAN IS : Narg , the talking trolloc from TEOTW.

Hello everyone. I have been luring on these forums for a couple of months and I finally decided to join. I am currently reading my way through A Crown of Swords, but I have spoiled the heck out of myself for this series. So, I already know all of the major plotpoints anyway. :)

Hello! My name would be Liz, and I'm here finally! You all can breathe again =). I've been reading the WoT series for the past six ish years now and am anxiously awaiting the 12th book. I'm more than likely not going to be posting a whole bunch of junk, but I will be waiting in the side lines for my chance to discuss some random WoT plots and what not. I'm looking forward to seeing other peoples points of view on the story, seeing how I know maybe two other people other than myself who have actually read the books.

Hello everyone! I am not only new to the boards but to the entire Wheel of Time series. A friend has been praising the series for years and we have pretty much identical taste when it comes to fantasy books. Unfortunately I have not had time to actually read for a long time now. The upcoming six months I will have a lot of free time so I figured I'd catch up on the reading. Anyways I don't plan on hanging out on the boards much (not until I'm finished that is :) ) since I don't want to accidentally come across spoilers in any form. Unless I have questions. Which I probably will. Heh. Also, as far as the reading order goes, being a newbie to all of this, I …

hello. i'm new here and am just dropping by. i started WoT when i was probably 11 or 12, so 7 or 8 years ago and haven't put them down since. I found this website and it totally blew me away when i first looked at some of the posts that people have put on this website. anyways, about me.... i'm a big movie, video game and music fan. i'm a fan of rock music (the new stuff and some classic) and am from the great white north. it's gonna be a good time here and i'll try to make my two cents known on the things that i know about.

Hey, I recently started reading The Wheel of Time. The only reason I was going to read it was for english class and it was the biggest book with the most points I saw, however, I loved it! I have now bought every book, and right now I'm on the 8th book. There is so much adventure, characters, and an incredible amount of detail in them, I was shocked to hear that RJ has passed. What a genius, I love reading fantasy, and The Wheel of Time is one of the best series I've ever read. For the past few months(two) I've been browsing the forums but I never registered, but todays the day :). Everything looks so interesting, especially the Orgs, I want to try and find out which one …

Hey everyone! I've known about Dragonmount for a long while, and I was even registered here 6 or so years ago. But, like many, eventually I stopped coming by and eventually finished the series and got caught up in college and other things. All until the other day, when I started reading The Dragon Reborn and couldn't put it down, even though it was my fourth time through. And then I powered through Shadow Rising. I'm going to start Fires of Heaven as soon as I can get my hands on a copy, my own is at my house away from college. My renewed fervor for the books awoke another long dormant desire, the want to roleplay. I RP'ed here all those years ago, and I feel like I'…

Hi, I am Blodeuedd and found my way here from Finland :) I used to be a member over at wotmania but that was long ago so when I saw they were closing I decided to move on to a new forum. Dunno why I haven't been on a real forum for a while since I love the books more than anything. Can't say when I started reading them, must be over 10 years now. I first read them in Swedish, and then moved on to reading them in English. Right now I am re-reading them so they will be fresh in my mind when the last book comes out. I can't wait for that. I love the world, and the characters. Book 1 is the book I have re-read the most, it's is my fav. I am sure I will like i…

;) Well joking aside, I'm Katharina and I've been a Wheel of Time fan for about 4 years now. I'm now re-reading the books for the third time. My favorite race is the Aiel because their sense of humor actually makes sense. I connect the most with Nynaeave as a character as she has a very bad habit of running her mouth, ticking people off and having to high-tail it as quickly as possible in the opposite direction before she gets her tail singed. That couldn't possibly be why I connect with her though, not at all. <_< >_> I am not lying through my teeth! Aside from the series, I'm incredibly fond of any other good fantasy book I can get my hands on…

Well I thought I might as well introduce myself, I have been here before but I just kind of phased out for a while there and ghosted the forum rather than posted because I couldn't remember my password and apparently I had the wrong email :S. So a bit about me: My name is Colton, and I'm an addict. I read the whole series usually about one and a half times a year, depending on whether I am having a literary year or not. When I am not living in Randland, I enjoy the works of GRRM, Hemingway, Tolkein, Asimov, Wilbur Smith and a whole plethora of other wonderful authors, including JK Rowling (please don't lynch me). I am one that likes to figure things out for …

hello there, I started reading the series maybe a year ago, I was lucky enough to be able to start with new spring, then onto the original series. I started reading the paper backs, then quickly moved over to listening to the audio books while at work. its awesome to just pop the audio books in my mp3 player, and listen to them all day long as I work. I am addicted to the series, and I just finished path of daggers. I look forward to meeting others with my same interest in Robert Jordan's genius. Nick Page 28 Washington state

Oh, man, I'm so nervous. I'm such a n00b here!! Not only am I just stubborn and ignorant about the internet in general ( which will reveal itself ), but I'm completely new to the social universe that exists for tWoT. I started the series 15 yrs ago when my fav. bookstore was handing out the first half of TEOTW. Beginning as such an awkward teen as I was, I believe I've held a deeper affection for WoT than may be clinically healthy. Just the, ya know, familiar maniacal Prophet type of devotion. It got me through the years of finding myself and the years of running from myself. It's hard to admit, but I learned about RJ's passing from an insensitive bookstore clerk t…

Just stopping by to say hi and hello to you all! I've been reading RJ's blog for a couple of years and occasionally checked DM out. But now I finally decided to make the effort and register. :D Do I really have to mention that I'm a hopeless WoT-addict? Discovered the books in 2003, I think, or early 2004. Am now on my second read through and I must confess I like them even more now than back then. Could also have something to do with me reading the first six books in Swedish then and now everything in English. Anywho, may the light be with you all. :)

Hi there! I'm a 34 year young man from Sweden. I first started to read R.J.'s The Wheel of Time novels back in 1995 and I have re-read them three or four times. The latest re-read is taking place right now. It's like reading them for the first time since it was about 4 years since I read them last. Anyway, had a hard time getting through Crossroads of Twilight and I failed. I coulnd't even make myself read through the 100 pages long intro. I will give the book a second go now and persevere, this time. Good to be here! Sad that Mr James Oliver Rigney Jr isn't.

Wow, it's been a LONG time since I was here last... 7, 8 years at least. I joined Dragonmount around it's 1st aniversary, but left to go about other things. At the time there was an org called the Freelanders, and I was their leader for a time (if you call herding cats leading ;D ). I've recently picked up the series again (though I've yet to read books 10 and 11) and along with it came memories of this place.

Hi everyone! I'm not new to WoT boards, just this one. I've been reading WoT for about 11-12 year, and I'm from WoTmania, and before that I was on a discussion list via email, I got ALOT of email then. I wasn't really an active or old member their, but I always look for places where WoT readers gather. I kinda lurk due to real life, but I try to chime in occasionaly. I hope to get to know you all in the coming months/years. and btw... I don't bite ;D Sean

Hey! I'm sixteen, irish and I love everything to do with the WoT. I was told this was one of the best sites for WoT RPs and that was what made me join. Umm not sure what else to say, except hey. Oh and sorry my name isn't very Wheel of Time-ish.... You can all just call me Leon, that on its own sounds better.
