Introduce Yourself

Hello! I've lurked here for a year or two and read through The Wheel of Time 3 times now. Once stopping at 10 as that was the last book available and twice after 11 (obviously!). Anyway, I'm boring myself here with these details. I'm roughly 27 and have been for a little less than a year. I'm a 3d artist working on films and I have dreamed (as I mentioned elsewhere on here) of directing live action versions of these books in whatever form I would be allowed. We'll see how that goes, as I've got no leads and the rights just sold AGAIN. ;) In the meantime, it's nice to have found a community of like minded people. Full-on fans of these books seem to be f…

Hello everyone! I just finished the 4th book of the series last night (which the last 300 or so pages kept me back for a bit) and noticed this site mentioned on the very back of the book. I decided to check this out, and noticed a RP section! I started these books last year, reading one for a month straight and then taking a break for other books. I enjoy these books (and sometimes have a love/hate relationship with the books) quite a bit. Hello, another WoT fan, here. I started reading the series in eighth grade and I love it. I just finished Knife of Dreams and I'm starting my second read through with New Spring (first read). It is nice to see how Mioraine and Suiane were like before taking up the gauntlet of finding Rand and taking out the Black Ajah. I'm a nut about WoT, tell my family all about it. Drives them nuts. Well, that is just about all I can think of right now.

Hello, Been a reader of RJ's since around 1992. I used to discuss these books quite a while ago on usenet. I stopped reading fantasy for about 8 years and then came back and finished up from ACOS through the current books after I heard about the Jordan's death. Once I realized that people still are into the WOT and still discuss classic topics like who killed asmo, I decided i needed to register.

Hi i've finally made it onto here after years of having my life taken over by WOT. I've read everything apart from the short stories and it still blows my mind each time I start over! Anyway a little bit about me... Ok where to start.. I'm 29, live in chesterfield in England, read ridiculous amounts of books (mainly scifi and fantasy - surprise!) and probably need to put up some more shelves really soon. Also be a bit patient with me. I'm just starting with this internet thing :o so still kind of feeling my way a bit. Im new to this forum, but hardly new to the Wheel of time. Im on my second tour of the series right now. Im a writer, webdesigner and security guard. So you probobly wonder if I ever get time to write, design anything. Your right, I do not... Unless I have a vaccation, but once a year nothing real can come from that. To introduce Jerovan, he is a character in the ONE story im working on. He is a knight with moral problems and to many battles behind him. Jerovan's world, is a fantasy world, I will post the world map once im finished with that.

Hi, I have been reading WoT since 1998, I just finished my 5th read through of the series. I notice something new every time I reread them. About me: I am from east Texas, 28 years old, a military veteran, married, father of 2 girls. The oldest is 4 and the youngest is 10 months. I enjoy hunting, fishing, football, reading, computers, and video games. I work offshore on an Oil Rig in the Gulf of Mexico, I am an Electronics Technician. for some years ago i open a book called "the lord of the rings" wow that was a book i read a few times and loved...... that was until i was introdused to The wheel of time.....ofcouse i culd start read it in my own lan but chosed english..after read the first bøøk that i borrowed at the library i ordered the whole serie in hardback.....this winter i will start read then trough for third time... and im awaits the last book......

Hi am am new in the forums but I love new pod-casts and have read the books (going on my 3rd time thur) just though I might get in on some of the talk. By the way I am male 53 years old lost my job some alittle while back. I was a Cable Tech Supervisor. Now my wife brings in the money and I keep the house up.
