Hi all! I've been reading these boards for...well I don't know how long but never really mustered the energy to get involved or interact- I used them more as another excuse to reread and reinterpret the series. So all I'd like to do is just thank everyone on the boards for ALL the theories, explanations, etc. I've been reading the books since I was 12...I'm 26 now (ugh.) Some of you may remember me as just plain Tai, but after several months/ a long time without Internet, I decided to return back to DM. I have been gone for a loooong time (almost 2 years.) I'm very interested in resuming my old character if possible. Hello again to the Dragonmount community. I really enjoyed the site and the forums during the buildup to Crossroads of Twilight as well as the heated debates which followed. After the server upgrade, however, I never quite got back into the swing of things. (One of my questions was included in the second or third podcast episode, however) *grin Anyway, with the final book to be completed and released in the next year and a half, I thought I would brush up on all things WoT, and am currently re-reading tEotW. Hi, I have been a long time fan of the WOT series and have finally decided to be a part of the Dragonmount community. Started reading the books at a hard place in my life and found a fantasy world in which I could totally immerse myself. Have lost counts of rereads as I have read them in a continuous loop since 1996 except for short ventures into a few short series. (Ya know the 3 book kind...) And there was a 6 month gap after we lost RJ, in many ways I think I lost my best friend even though I never met him... I imagine I am with people who totally get that here of all places. So that's it for now it's great to finally come home.

I have all twelve books (including New Spring) in my collection, and all have been read at least thrice. The more I read, the more intricacies and nuances I catch that captivates me! Ok well im new obviously. Just started reading book 8 and so far have been totally caught up in the adventure. WOT is now my most favourite book series, poor LotR. It's Myndrunner the Dragonmount Newb here. I only recently became a fan last year, but I have plowed through the books like the Red Hand through a bunch of Trollocks. (hee hee....um...yeah, anyway...) So, I thought I would give eveyone a heya shout. Just reading some of the posts on here, I realized that I was pretty spot on about some of my theories and waaaaaaay off on others. It's good to know that there are others who enjoyed the series. I recommend the audio books too. The readers do a great job with the characters and it help with pronunciation. Anyone know if there will be other books that deal with the Wheel of Time universe after Memory of Light…

Hello there! I am fairly new to the series & as I love to draw/paint & often find myself imagining or doodling my renditions of the characters. Initally, I was drawn to this site to enjoy the work of those gifted artists who display some of their art here - I could browse for hours! - I also found that the atmosphere seems to be rather friendly & there seems to be lots of spiffy things to see/do. =p Hopefully I will dummy-up & try not to be too shy to get involved!

Just saying hi to fellow WoT fans. Just starting reading several months ago around late October I think. Half way through 10 and I cant wait for 12 to come out! Hello all ;D . About 5 years ago when I was just figuring out how great novels are, I grabbed a copy of The Eye of the World as only my second big read. I read up to around book 6 (LoC) before I moved on to other smaller books(600 pages or less ;D) because, these being some of my first novels, I started to lose inerest when the plots started to break up and become hard to follow ??? .
