I'm thinking about getting the Wheel of Time game off eBay or something but I'm a little worried that it might not live up to my expectations. For those of you who have played it. Is it any good? Does it do the series justice?

In the Crossroads of Twilight preface the last line from Bashere is an order to Tumad: "You know where to find the man who came to me yesterday? Find him and tell him I agree, but there will be a few more than we talked about." This seems to be an order related to the attack on his wife, which I believe was caused by Bashere's possesion of a seal. This does not seem to be Bashere giving in to pressure to give up the seal, but it does seem ominous. Any theories? And this is a reread for me, just the first time that has jumped out.

I don't know if anyone here plays warhammer, but I think it would be awesome if WoT was made into a miniature model game. Let me now what you guys think about this.

Hi. I'm new, and the one thing i noticed about all of the posts about the plot for AMOL here is that no one mentions the Luc/Isam combine....or whatever they are. In the fourth book, there was all that jazz about Isam leading the Trollocs and Lord Luc appearing out of no where. Isam was from Malkier, he and his mother were lost when the Trollocs invaded. Luc was from Andor. He went to the Blight because his destiny lay there or something. In the 2nd book, the dark prophecy says: Luc came to the Mountains of Dhoom, Isam waited in the high passes, .... One did live, and one did die, but both are. In the 4th book, the wolves all called Isam "Slayer" and Luc smel…

The Last Battle will be the final battle between good and evil. Why else would it be called the Last Battle???? The wheel has always redone the ages because the Dark One had never been fully trapped in his prison since the creation of time. Since the first time the bore was drilled, it has never been resealed correctly. So the Last Battle will be the final battle between good and evil, and the wheel will spin new series of ages and not just the same ages over and over again. note hopefully it makes sense.

Hi guys, quick question- I am re-reading the series and just finished LoC. Min has a vision about Berelain eventually going ga ga over a "man in white", would that be Galad? He is a whitecloak and pretty and we all know Egwene will end up with Gawyn so that leaves Galad free, I just can't remember ever hearing/reading afterwards anything about that.

Alright this might seem obvious to everyone but me but who will rule Carhein? Could it be Moraine? Galad? Elayne? Rand himself?

Everyone has been speculating whether or not Moridin and Rand will switch bodies or merge per Min's viewing. Well, is it possible that the merge and death of a personality could actually be with Rand and LTT? As it stands, they are two seperate personalities sharing one body. As KOD has shown, LTT is gaining a stronger presence in Rand's mind and is able to control and weave saidin. Could it be plausible to assume that this is what Min's viewing alludes to? Either one of them dies off, or they become one stronger person. Thought? Ideas? Also, if this has been brought up previously, my apologies. Chris

so i just joined and i don't know if this has been brough up before but i want to see if u guys can clarify it for me anyways. Nicola the novice Elayne and Nynaeve find makes a foretelling in LOC when Salidar experiences a bubble of evil. "The lion sword, the dedicated spear, she who goes beyond. Three on the boat, and he who is dead yet lives. The great battle done, but the world not done with battle. The land divided by the return, and the guardians balance the servants. the future teeters on the edge of a blade." so i am trying ot figure this out. i have read the entire series several times and some of this makes sense to me but the other is nonsense and i cannot rem…

I know it is not much, but the glossary of A Crown of Swords may have a piece of supporting evidence for "new forsaken". "Forsaken, the:...A number of strange enounters, however, suggest the possibility either that several new Chosen have been selected by the Dark One or the Lord of the Grave has in some cases reached beyond death." A Path of Daggers and beyond lack that, but it may just be to prevent a "spoiler" of Taim or someone else rising to that level. The books after ACOS do mention the Gars by name Moridin, and Lanfear, but I hope that Taim, or someone else of the Third Age is named Chosen.[/i]

Am I the only one who wants Jordan to just keep writing 1000 page books without ending the series. I mean, eventually around book 15 or 16 he would have to end, but I want him to go into excruciating detail for every one of his remaining plot threads. Please tell me I am not alone here.

Verin is an interesting character who I haven't really paid much attention to while reading and re-reading the series. I haven't seen much discussion about her on various boards either (probably because I'm not looking in the right places), but I think she plays a far more important role than I've given her credit for in the past. As far as character importance goes, I rank her on the third tier: 1st = 3 legs to the tripod (paraphrasing a Fade's words from tDR; Rand, Mat and Pez). 2nd = wonder women, Morridin, Shadar Haran, Moiraine, Thom and Lan. 3rd = Caddy-shack, Sorrilea, other forsaken, Bashere, etc. 4th = characters that serve a distinct and important purpose, b…

I've been wondering about this for years. According to every source I've found, Mydraal ARE born (to Trollocs), so it makes no sense. Perhaps someone here knows?

Concerning Logain's "future glory", could this mean that he will be the one to manage and head the Black Tower, much like the Amyrlin Seat runs the White Tower? Under his guidance I could imagine that he'd bring greatness to the tower and also bringing a balance between the White and Black Towers. He is appears committed to the Ash'man and the Black Tower developments, and certainly does not like Taim's activities. I could even imagine him battling Taim at some point. I do not see Logain being dishonorable in the future and taking credit for things Rand did (if Rand dies after TG) and achieving glory through such negative means. I do not see him 'over-stepping' Ran…

Has Perrin given the Seanchan their battle plan to take Tar Valon? I think a water source for the island of Tar Valon is mentioned in Egwenes POV once she has been taken prisoner. Could it be that the same trick will be used...the forkroute in the water and most of the Tower marath-damane unable to do anything? If the tower were being assaulted, Egwene could summon the rebels to help defend the tower...could this be how the rift in the tower is healed? How is this going to play out?

Okay,in book 2 of the Wheel of Time. Theres the part where Rand and Loial and Harrin/whatevers hes called are ported to another world VIA the portstones from Rands accidental use of Saidin. When they were in there Rand saw this, (this is a excerpt from the book): "There was no sign of life; at least, Rand thought it must be so. Twice he saw a wispy streak crawling across the sky like a line drawn with a cloud. The lines were too straight to be natural it seemed, but he could not imagine what might make them." I believe those white lines are contrails, if they're contrails there must be flying machines, also..the world is described as destroyed and desolate in…

Is it just me or are those chapters from Shadow Rising the best gift ever given to his readers. You know the chapters I mean... It's one of the few places RJ sits us on his knee and says, "Right guys, you want a brief history of Randland from the breaking up to now..." What's even more amazing if you think about it is all those POV's we see are Rand's ancestors. So yep, one of Rand's great-great-great-great (ad three thousand years worth) grandfathers was the Aiel servant of Lanfear... ah if only she'd had the foresight. Jeff

I often try, as I'm sure most of you do, to get my friends to read Wheel of Time, and spread the joy that is Robert Jordan's fantasy series. Now, I'm sure they would love them if only they started reading them. Unfortunatly, the idea of reading a 12 book series doesn't really grasp their imagination right away. I'm wondering, if anyone has any ideas in how we could spread the Wheel of Time expieriance to our friends? thanks. (I apologise if this is in the wrong forum. I wasn't sure where to put it.)

"To live you must die" I was thinking about this particular prophecy given as an Answer by the Aelfinn and about how Alivia will help Rand die. I also noticed how Lews Therin is becoming more and more of a nuisance to Rand. Now in essence LTT and Rand are two consciousnesses inhabitting the same body. Now these prophecies really arent entirely obvious, so I built up the theory that "To live you must die" actually refers to LTT dying (Maybe Rand will be dead for a second or two in the process) and Alivia helping Rand Die/Kill LTT Was wondering what you thought of this theory? Cheers!

Is there a WOT anywhere online? are there any plans to put one up?

I'm not sure if this has been discussed before, but has anyone considered who taught Moiraine balefire. From TDR pg 599 “Even the Forsaken cannot stand up to balefire,†she said. He wondered if that was what she had used on the Darkhounds; it still made him uneasy, what he had seen, and what she had said then. “I have learned things in the last year, Perrin. I am . . . more dangerous than when I came to Emond’s Field. If I can come close enough to Be’lal, I can destroy him. But if he sees me first, he can destroy us all, long before I have a chance.†Moiraine mentions earlier on in TDR (pg 515) that balefire is forbidden knowledge by the tower …

At the end of TGH Rena and Seta are left collared after Egwene shows personal animosity towards that particular pair, not just her general hate to suldam. They were freed later by Suroth and Alwhin later and their secret hidden. Eganin discovered their secret and blackmailed them into helping Mat. They have begun to learn to channell. In the mean time Egwene has said no woman is to be turned away from the Tower if she tests true, and Joline seems to want the pair of former suldam to become novices. So my question is how will Egwene react when they meet again?

Hey, I may sound VERY stupid asking this question(if the answer turns out to be obvious) but I have to know! I was completely confused by Faile's anger at Perrin during the whole time they were together before she got kidnapped. I'm pretty sure it was described in Winter's Heart the most, but i'm not sure. So, does anyone have an answer for me? This has been bothering me for a while because I just don't get it.

Hello everyone i am new to your forums and the WOT series. I started reading Eye of the World just 2 days ago. I'm only on page 104 but i am already hooked. I found your forum and i love it, it seems like an awesome comunity. My question is, is there a place i can go to talk about what little bit i have read, or ask questions without bothering those of you who are way past where i am? for example: I am currently wondering what in the world is the Aes Sedai?! i am sure the book has explained it but i think i missed something and i cant find a description anywhere. Thank you for any help :)

Phoenix's dream scenario: Egwene is held captive by Elaida. Perrin busts in to save her. Faile busts in, jealous of Egwene. Distracted, Perrin get's b*tch slapped by Elaida across the room. Egwene then kills Elaida. Faile then kills Egwene. Perrin wakes up, and in a furious rage, realizes that Faile has brainwashed him and chopped off his balls. Perrin kills Faile. The remaining Forsaken Travel there, bow down to Perrin, declaring him Nae'blis. They form a circle, and balefire Faile's dead body hard enough to erase her existence - or at least her excruciatingly long capture - from the Pattern. As Nae'blis, Perrin regains his masculinity, and uses the Forsake…
