Why would Nynaeve camp away from the other AS?

Does anyone else think that the precedent set by RJ and TOR some books back to milk every last bit of money from the books by selling the prologue couple months earlier than the book is a really cheap business ploy?

So.... Egwene did research the Seals, and her insane shifts of stance were a result of bad writing. She has solid research, she has a reasonable position, and by all evidence, is making the right call. She points out the very flaw in Rand's explanation to Nynaeve that I did. Thoughts?

I'm just throwing this out there. In your opinion what do you believe are the most important UNANSWERED questions remaining?

Probably a silly question, but before they captured Rand and were staying in the house in Carhein, why did they have to continually keep channeling? Sarene Sedai, after talking with Galina and her sisters was thinking to herslef they were preparing for failure, retired upstairs then filled herself with Saidar to the point where sweetness almost became pain then started going through novice exercises. She told herself these were "as good as any". What was the point in this? It seemed to me that they were all going through channeling exercises in the house. Hello everyone! Ive read the books a dozens of times and once or twice a year listen to the audiobooks at work. And now last time I listened to them something struck me concerning the prologue of the first book, Eye of the world. Here we get to follow Lews Therin Telamon wandering through a palace looking for his love. And suddenly Ishamael turns up clearing the taint on Lews Therins mind for a while. The question is, If Lews Therin is already mad, then he and the hundred companions already sealed The dark one and the forsaken. Then how can Ishamael turn up in person? He's sealed to the bore.. What do you think?

First, I am sincerely sorry if this has been asked before but... I am currently rereading the series for the first time (have only read it through once, had never caught up until the previous book) and am struggling to recall many different things. Before reading any further, please note there is a HIGH chance of spoilers. I am currently on my first readthrough and have decided to believe at least one of the "originals" (the group that left the two rivers together plus Nyneave) is in some form a "dark friend". A large part of this is due to me suffering from what I have deemed "Shyamalanism", a need for a major twist. I haven't delved too much into theories yet, I only finished the series roughly a year and a half ago. I am an awfully slow reader unfortunately and there is no way I'll be able to re-read every single book before January. I physically won't have enough time. Any suggesionts on important bits or maybe 3 or 4 books I should read to really get me back in the story? I'm thinking of just rereading the first and last book but I don't know....I'd like to be able to get through the last book without having to look up every other character as they get mentioned lol. This example is from Eye of the World after Shadar Logoth. Anyone think of any other good examples where communication might have been helpful?

Just a random thought, these have probably been discussed as everything has here, but im still new to this. What if the reason that the Dark One wants rand alive because he is the only one that can truly free him. Something like his blood(because he is the creators chosen one), is the final spark or something to break the dark one free, and that is why he has to be there. Just curious what people tihnk about that.

Isam sees a woman enter the bar in the Town. He assumes she's one of the Chosen, and is described as "a pretty woman, dressed in black trimmed with red." She also has a "slim figure and a delicate face." He doesn't recognize her as one of the Chosen. She also looked at her reflection in the cup, indicating that she might not be used to her current face. She refers to Rand as Lews Therin. Who is she? I've been following all the tidbits around the Spoiler section and I think I've put together all the pieces ... First off, I know who Morridin is. He's Edward. The Chosen-like girl in The Town is Bella. Demandred is Jacob, which explains why he and Morridin are always seemingly at odds with each other. Androl and Emarin are 2 underling vampires that have been sent to the Black Tower to turn them all into Vampires ... and, along the way, they've fallen madly in love. Of course we all have our favorite among the Two Rivers gang that we can easily root for without too much worrying that they're secretly one of the Chosen or some deceitful darkfriend ... but we probably all have at least a couple characters we enjoy from the series that we don't know for sure and pray each time we read that it doesn't get revealed that they're really Morridin or someone like that. My favorite secondary character has always been Talmanes. The way his character works with Mat's has always been very entertaining to me. I have posted a few times on here, but have been reading through threads for years. To be honest I haven't seen anyone mention this possibility, but I would gladly read any thread that anyone points me to if this has already been covered somewhere. In the series there are hints that, ultimately, the Dark One's prison doesn't merely need to be resealed, but that it must be rebuilt. In ToM Rand realizes that "the rubble must be cleared away" before the prison can be made whole again. Now, I've recently started rereading the books and am currently about to complete book #5 and all through my rereading I've become drawn to certain aspects of Egwene's nature that are less than admirable and wondered if they might lead to her turning from the light and embracing the dark. I have a partial theory that I thought I'll post it out there and let people poke holes in it. The dark one cannot break free of his prison without dark rand's help. Here is why I feel that is the case. 1) At the start of the book Ishamael offers the dark LTT (I call him dark LTT since at this point he is broken by his actions) an option to join the dark one. (Why would the dark one need him at all? He heals the madness to give LTT a final chance to choose) 2) Through out the series there are several cases where the DO helps rand avoid death. (Semirage sending help in the stone, Dashiva prompting Flinn to save rand, etc.) He tries to torture Rand but not kil…

Just about every time Bashere's name comes up, a couple of people make comments about the strong possibility that he is a darkfriend as discussed in other threads. Now, it's been a good while since I read the books (except tGS), so I'm not arguing that he is or is not a darkfriend (although I know we have some PoVs from him, but hey, we had PoVs from Verin too). Hey everyone, i have begun my re-read through the series before the big day. I thought it might be fun for everyone to have a place to just talk about their reread experience for each book. (things that seemed like new again, or things that were missed, things that make more sense etc) My girlfriend and I are reading them together, however this is her first time through.
