All, Based on some recent feedback we've gotten, we are looking to expand our technology staff. Basically, we'd like to create a pool of volunteers willing to help keep this place running smooth, and to help improve it. The Wotism forum seam to be down. I was thinking that some of you on this forum perhaps use that forum as well. If so do anyone know if it have just moved locations, if it is taken down by a hacker or just down for maintenance or what is wrong with it? The 2009 (and first) David Gemmell Award is currently being voted upon. The design of the award is to find the best 'heroic' fantasy novel of the year (although that definition seems to be applied rather loosely, based on the shortlist) and there are about 80 books on the final shortlist. Hi All, I am new to the forum but adore the books!!! We have just found a stray dog. It is a female with a lovely nature. I would like to name her based on a word or something from the Wheel of Time. Does anybody have any suggestions? It has to be something that my wife (non-wheeler) would like and somehting my 3 year daughter could manage. I was thinking something from the Old Tongue maybe? I just finished the Final Fantasy XII and just wondered: Is it just me, or is it too easy? Its a fairly long game, and many things to do that is not necisarily done in a heartbeat. (and i ws running around doing hunts and stuff. So I finished in about 90 hs..) But I find it being a tad bit easy. I finished the last bosses with only 3-4 KO, and not a single restart. I remember VII & VIIII, and they, at least to my memory, were not even close to being as easy... Any one else have the same expirience? Any one else think VII is the best FF game ever?

I am just posting to say that the new Dragonmount banner is very nice. Who made it? It really is just awesome, the style and stuff. But, the Aes Sedai symbol is wrong. It needs to be flipped and mirrored. The black is where the white should be and nice versa. Just thought I would point that out, it's otherwise super cool. :P

About halfway through and this is probably the best book I've read. I'm on my phone so didn't look through the threads to see if already posted. I just know that I have asked for suggestions here before and figured I'd make one.

Alright since I know this community knows fantasy I figure id ask here first. Since I finished KOD, ive been reading a bunch of solo novels and it just isnt doing it for me. I still have to catch up on the mistborn series, but other than that I got nothing. What Im looking for is a fantasy series that has more development of creatures, monters, who knows. I like the whole magic thing(hey who doesnt) but orcs and trollocs, and gollums are more enjoyable to read about it. So what do you all think?

I know online there is a site called Badali Jewelry who sells the Aes Sedai ring as well as other WoT Jewelry, however, before them or around the same time there was another site who also did the Aes Sedai ring. However, I cannot find it at all anymore. Does anyone have a clue as to what I am talking about? I ordered the ring a few years back and I'd like to see if the same site was still up and running, but I haven't found it since getting my ring. It doesn't look like the Badali one.
