Things You Should Never Say To Your Boss

The employee handbook is more like a list of "suggestions," right?

What do you even do all day?

I eventually got fired for this:

"You have a GED and a petty officer second class electrician; just because you have no idea what I'm talking about doesn't give you a right to veto it!"

"You only got your position because your bosses took pity on you." I've heard that one used; it did not end well for the user.

New employee did day say this in the end of probation interview and then told everyone in the office like she was proud of it. She is no longer working there but it was unrelated, so...I'll let you decide on appropriate or not.

Boss: where do you see yourself in one year's time?

Employee: sitting in that chair you're in having this chat with the person who's taking my current position.

–sneezes after a team meeting concludes–

"I'm sorry, I'm allergic to the mule crap you're trying to sell us about how much we like each other."
