Lunch @ work

Are you never getting tired of eating the same lunch at work?

Can you order food at your working place or do you have to bring your own sandwiches?

My dream lunch would probably be something like this :

but instead I have like 2 slices of bread with something on it, an apple and a cookie

^that looks so great !

I do get into habits where I eat the same thing every day and never get tired of it.  When I live anywhere near decent restaurants, an Italian hoagie is always the way to go.  Lately I've been having a California Pizza Kitchen frozen pizza every day.  They're really thin crust so I can gobble the whole thing down.

I'm looking forward to my school having a cafeteria next year. For now, lunch is just gobbling down whatever cream cheese crisp bread package I managed to grab with me. It's not really relaxing or a meal, just something to sustain me until I get home.

a cafeteria that sounds nice ! I hope we'll get one after the big merge we'll have at work ^^

i wouldn't mind having a slice of pizza

we don't have italian restaurants close enough though

we can order subs when working early shift. Not too expensive and good taste.

As for the late shift: Pizza Hut and Quick (hamburger fastfood) both deliver at our work, as well as a Pita Gyros place... but, I tend to say no. Gotta at least try and eat healthy

Pita can be healthy ... it depends on the meat and the sauce you put inside, I guess lol

  • 3 weeks later...

So for the last year, I have been roofing a brand new school down on the Indian Rez. There's only one place to eat. It's a grocery store with a deli.

I swear, if I eat fried chicken again, I'm gonna explode

Lol

It has been ages since I ate that kind of thing for lunch  you re lucky lolol

There's a decent selection of places nearby or we can bring our own food. A couple of places nearby even deliver!

Usually I'll either bring some leftovers or grab a subway sandwich, chineese food or mexican food.

Unfortunately, it's hard for me to get left overs lol

The kids ... and Thane tend to eat everything that's on the table

BUT i found a small Thaï restaurant that makes delicious/cheap take away dishes.

I tried something with rice, veggies, oyster sauce and duck :3

it was good !
