what video games are you playing or really want to play?

Try 32 meg.

It runs fine on Windows 8.1

Civ 1 is only 2 meg.  Which is strange because I seem to remember it coming on like seven floppy disks.

But it crashes when I try to run it on 8.1.

meg is megabyte if I'm not very mistaken.

Anyways, Shad, are you okay with mailing Civ II to me? I'll PM my mail if so.

And I posted this in the wrong thread originally but part of me hopes that the final fantasy vii re release comes out on xbox one. But part of me hopes it doesn't. I worry about getting too caught up in it.

And I like minecraft too but I generally just like starting a new game so I can build a house and a farm lol

I believe I actually have a CD with the original civ, the original colonization and two other games lying around somewhere. Might be misremembering though, about which games were on it exactly.

It's NOSTALGIA.

Also, there are ways to argue that those old games sometimes have better mechanics than newer games. If you prefer corruption over global happiness or maintenance costs, then you should look towards III or prior.

And apparently (though I've never seen it myself) in Civ II an empire could SPLIT if you took it's capital, due to civil war, which is quite amazing.

Also, Throne Room.
