Featured Replies

Here is the last cider I tried and really enjoyed

It had a strawberry and lime flavour.

What is your favourite kind of cider ?

Last night I had Blake's Flannel Mouth with my dinner. At the beer store I saw a six-pack from the same company flavored with orange peel and cherries. I really wanted to try this, but accidentally grabbed the wrong item... same company, similar packaging. What I got is a 6.5% alcohol cider that seems to be plain apple with no added flavors. I found it surprisingly good given that it's in cans and not bottles. I'd buy it again.

As for favorite, Strongbow has some good flavors although I find their classic original cider to be too dry. Woodchuck is very good and remains my favorite overall.

lol I have never tried to vaporize cider ... that would be spoiling it I think

Orange peel and cherries, that sounds awesome !

My uncle used to get each of us a jug of local cider every fall.  I drank it all the time as a little kid, so I'm guessing it wasn't alcoholic, but it had a really strong bite to it.  Does the brewing process even work that way, or was it probably just 0.5% alcohol or something really low like that?  Either way I remember it being delicious, and I wish I knew where he got it.

But as an adult, <3 Woodchuck's pear cider.

Newtopia Cyder is a really good place that has a tasting room right up the street from me.

They make an awesome pear cider

we had these in the shop

red berries was the best...the elderflower one really tasted like elderflower

Did the gold one taste like metal?

No, it tastes like Golden Delicious. It's basically meant to capture the flavor of a specific variety of apple.

The golden one tasted like that sweet kind of apple, but you can listen to metal while drinking it to improve its taste
