beast in the library

Featured Replies

in which book i can`t recall (now i am reading 9th) there was a wise young man in the library spent all his time on searching over there (and Rand was expecting some important information from him, i can`t recall what that was either) and one day a forsaken brings an unearthly beast and kill him. do you know the reason? and in which book it wiil be explained?

herid fel was killed by a gholam at the end of lord of chaos,

however, he wasn't young,he was described as a stout man with thin grey hair.

Wow you have a good memory. So can you tell me what was the reason behind his murder?

during lord of chaos chapter 50,herid fel gave rand important

information regarding the bore, rand figured it out in the gathering storm,

so maybe the reason behind the murder was to stop herid fel from giving rand

more information.

Pretty much as jack explained, he stummbled upon info on sealing the bore.  Something about clearing away rubble.

Thanks for the info. I am still amazed that many characters in many different envirenments and not even a litte bit inconsistentcy i could have seen in the books.

I thought he also gave some good hints on what Rand does at the end of book 9. I might be mistaken though... I know he gave some good indications on clearing away the rubble.
