It's like hitting the "Back one page" or "Forward one page" button, but without wasting the energy to go all the way up to the arrow.

You can also often use ALT+Left or Right to get the same result. :D

But the rolling requires less energy!

I have a button on my mouse for going backwards. Used to have one for forward too, but I changed it to double-click. Yes, I am too lazy to double-click.

Twitchy: Not if you're not using the mouse to begin with. I'm slowly phasing out the use of my mouse. :P
