Is this evidence of a resurection/healing more that a body swap?

thats meant halfway as a joke dude, if u read the whole thing it dont say a thing about resurection its about when rand hides and master norry dont think hes dead before he see the body.... so i wont say its something about that.

I actually just reread that last night. I don't think its forshadowing at all, but more Master Norry giving his opinion that Rand is not currently dead, and doing so in a semi joke form.

 

Thats all.

Sure its presented as a joke, but it is an interesting thing for Jordan to say and these little things he likes to insert tend to reappear later in the story.

It is foreshadowing.

 

Rand is the Savior of Randland.

 

He's got King Arthur, Buddha, Moses, and yes, Jesus imagery.

 

Hence the "tomb of Shadar Logoth open to give the world hope" line- also New Testament Biblical.

 

Then there's the "he who is dead yet lives" line.

 

All clever allusions by Jordan, just like Thom Merrilin's pontifications to Elayne in tSR reveal that Thomdrill Merrilin is a play on Merlin.

It's not anything special in terms of Norry himself...

 

But I'm sure it is a seed planted so that we question Rand's upcoming "death".
