There are some kinds of change I find easier to accept than others (overall though, I like my routines, with the occasional well-scheduled variety. :wink: I don't mind the occasional 'good' surprise. I like warning when large changes are coming so I have time to prepare...or at least brace for impact). 

Change is easier when i can control... This is... not easily controllable. 

 

That and my daughter isn't handling it well, given her super sensitive nature while at school. Overly weepy and hyper-sensative to those around her. :( I can tell she misses the stability her dad offers when he was around.

I had a great Mother's Day. We went to Sequoia National Park and Kings Canyon National Park. We live near there and bought a year pass. Later we had dinner with my son who was on duty at the fire Department.

So pretty.... Been having a deep craving for such walks.. but they are quite far from where I am and I have no available car.

 

So i'll just live vicariously through your pictures....
