definitely Illian. it reminds me of the Greek isles, is on the ocean, is South so it wouldn't be cold, and everyone talks like a pirate.

Illian, Rand is the king and he hardly even had to fight for the country. They gave their loyalty to him for being a good man. :D

I'm a bit surprised. I always found Andor a bit...conservative, interpret that however you want

It does seem to lack the idiosyncrasies that make the other nations so interesting. Of course, Jordan might have made it that way to let us experience those other places through the eyes of characters who find them as interesting as we do. The six major characters are all Andoran, after all, and Min as well. Between those seven you have the great majority of POVs in the series.
