Top Chef - Slower moving, harder for the audience to identify winners because we can't really sample the final product

 

then along comes.... Top Design. The format is a little overdone with two prior shows setting the tone. I think it could gather a bigger following than top chef though as it's way easier to form opinions about the final products.

I think you're thinking of "Blow Out" which was about a hair salon. That one was really annoying, I watched an episode or so, but he was so annoying I just couldn't take it anymore.

 

 

Bravo seems to have two sets of reality shows, the Top Chef/Project Runway/competition reality ones, and the grown up versions of mtv reality shows: Real Housewives, blow out, work out, etc.
