Minas Tirith from Lord of the Rings. Gandalf went to the library there. Would that be considered a palace?

Hmmmm, that's an idea!

Oooh ooh!   Kharbaranth has an awesome library... buuuuuut the Palaneum isn't part of the palace so probably not.

I'm not sure. There was the citadel and the white tower where the kings and stewards hung out, and I think the library was there cause denethor was in charge.  The only thing called an actual palace was the palace of the fountain tho but.... that's a good guess

You are correct! This is the wonderful city of Minas Tirith. I hear that wizards like the library. :)

4 points to everyone.

Where are we? There are no woods to be seen here, and apparently there are no lakes either.

I just read the OP and it's not always a city so ya, the answer would be dune or tattooine or something.

my first thought was dune also, or arrakis.

Hmmmm...  either sounds reasonable.  The question is which one Niniel is more likely to choose

Maybe guess Arrakis first?

Any objection to officially guessing dune/arrakis?

Do it!  I don't think we have a better guess yet

I´m sorry, that is not where we are.

For 4 points.

I hear that they are still keeping slaves here.

That was a good alternate option, and from what I can tell from the wiki, I still like it.
