For the last year, I've been teaching myself to paint. I'm inspired by abstraction and bright colors.

 

Yesterday, I finished my latest piece, and I wanted to share it the you here. I trust you'll catch the reference.

At first I thought this was a digital drawing, so now I'm even more impressed that you painted it!

 

You make very efficient use of your spare time haha

I think about that. If I had the software and skills to do this digitally, I could crank these out in about an hour.

 

But for now, I enjoy just putting on some mello cello and dipping the brush.

That might be so, and I do realize there is a lot of work and skills behind computer art too, but to be able to do this with a brush and canvas is amazing in my book.

How did you get those straight lines???  was it freehand or if it's a trade secret can you pm me...  ?
