Spoilers for all of the Harry Potter franchise. Mostly Fantastic Beasts.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

So a couple days ago, I was thinking about the Elder wand and its story. I remembered that you don't have to kill the owner of the wand to become the new master for example Dumbledore doesn't kill Grindelwald. Then I thought about the end of Fantastic Beasts and how Newt "defeats" Grindelwald using on of the beasts, meaning Newt should've been the new master of the Elder Wand.
