Finally.... Slayer and Manson together

Slayer and Marilyn Manson will co-headline a North American tour that is sure to be the summer’s heaviest road trek…much to Ozzfest's Sharon Osbourne’s chagrin, I’m sure.

Kicking off July 25 on the East Coast, the tour should hit 25 cities and end in early September on the West Coast. Exact dates and support acts tba.

Manson will be promoting his upcoming June release, Eat Me, Drink Me, while Slayer is still out plugging the delightful Christ Illusion.

These will be sunny, happy times to be sure…

The he thing that made me really enjoy Peter Jackson’s LOTR was that despite the departures from the books the story was told in the same tone as the novels and so it still felt like LOTR Same went for Game of Thrones, the books had a darker tone and thus so did the show so it felt like the same world and the same story. WOT by contrast just does not have the same tone as the books. It feels like they are trying to tell the story of WOT in the tone of GOT and it just feels off
