Ok so traditionally Aes Sedai and Warders (?) drink tea. All kinds of tea. Favourite probably being Tremalking Black.

There are whole long tables in all the Dining Rooms with all kinds of tea available to Warders and Aes Sedai and novices and algai and Accepted and Der'Manhima.

 

But here's the thing ... with the Seanchan came Kaf, and Mother developed a liking to it.

So Mother had a Kaf machine installed in her quarters, and sent her agents out far and wide to obtain Kaf for her, by any means.

 

But after a while she started feeling bad about hoarding her limited stash of Kaf, so she brokered peace with the Seanchan (through the people who really really understand all things food and drink, aka the Gray Ajah).

This means she now has enough Kaf to share with all White Tower and Warder initiates (aka Warders and Aes Sedai and novices and algai and Accepted and Der'Manhima).

 

Does this mean ALL White Tower and Warder initiates MUST henceforth drink Kaf?

Of course not! There's the tea - just continue drinking that, if you don't like Kaf.

Or drink both. Have some punch with it too.

    I think mother is being ironical about having enough kaf to share, I think the problem is someone (cough cairos) stole it and the rest of the story is just for flavor..?

    So the coffee machine is real (yey!) but the grays are only a side info, and no Starbucks (snivels) or birthday party... Who or what is jag?! I read it ten times I see no jag?!?! And who are the seanchan..

    Seanchan is a methaphor for this jag?

     Or seanchan is someone..like the..upper staff?

    But what do they do...what is the point..hm...?

    Noooo....starbucks drinkable but we will have custom coffee in yard....the really good stuff if we has a coffeeshop

    I mean as soon aa3 I find the right location for it I cand definitly open a lavas coffee and bakery in the yards *nods* (brewed the old way with good coffee not the cheap tush store bought one)

    Posts. This is about posts...and visitors? i think...my two cents ?

     

    I think this has to do with the congregation efforts and posting of many members here? The Amyrlin brings in visitors/influences from everywhere across the land, incorporates them into the community, then encourages everyone to do the same. For a time, everyone went out and post everywhere, then nowhere.

     

    So, post when and where you can, be yourself, and enjoy this Home and it's visitors.
