DM has a lot of things to do, so there is something for everyone, whether it be a geek and discussing the books, socialise and joining the ORG side, or diving into RJ's world of WoT by RPing.

*nods* ... good q, eggy. *looks at jez* ... i apologize. we tend to go trigger-happy on the welcome wagon. i know it can be overwhelming (light, it still happens to me in some forums!) but it's really flattering too, no? you can just ignore us & only respond to things asked of you. that way we shall settle down quicker & get the hint & focus more on you.

*hugs* ... don't worry about it, stef. you've reallyreally been amazing to have around DM. you should have seen what these people did to me. if it wasn't for the welcome wagon & how much i love the series - it could have turned ugly.

 

this is what i'm talking about. we all come from different Orgs but look - we do fine here. & in fiddles & the SC as well (yes, me & my plugging will never stop. sorry.). i don't see any reason why it shouldn't keep spreading. newbies need to be allowed to be newbies. as long as they're good newbies of course 8)

 

so far i don't have any complaints about the new ones i've welcomed to DM. cookies all around!
