If they do write in Cadsuane they need to go big or go home.  I vote for Fiona Shaw she would be amazing.

I don't think Cadsuane will be cast now because she disappears for five or six seasons.

Love Fiona Shaw. See her as more of a Wise One though. Amys? Sorilea? (I think there will be some combining and amalgamating...)

 

Amys and Melaine will probably be the two we see the most, possibly Bear to show that you don't have to be a channeler to be a strong dreamwalker.

Agreed about Fiona Shaw. They need to cast actresses that have a lot of backbone and grace.

 

It will be interesting to see how they either do casting, costuming, or other choices to differentiate Aes Sedai from other women in the series, since they aren't doing any 'ageless look' CGI.

Maybe a white tower badge or item of visible clothing or jewelry besides the rings.

Or they just play up the idea that women who can channel can sense other women that can channel. 

She would be great as Cadsuane or an Aiel wise one I.e. Sorilea

I'm not familiar with any of her work but by the picture alone, damn near exactly the face I had in mind when reading.  I know it doesn't really make sense as Aes Sedai are supposed to have "ageless" faces but thats what I pictured lol

I always pictured Cadsuane as Asian, given the way she dresses... 

I also think Shohreh Aghdashloo would make a great Cadsuane

If this came out 10 - 15 years ago I’d have voted for Maggie Smith. Shame Potter got her first lol.
