So...errr... who is watching this? I hear good things about it. If you are watching it, why should I watch it?

My personal opinion: it started good and got gradually drawn out and sillier. The storylines got weaker at the series and they added characters they didn't need (There's a token female that just killed it for me. I know I'm a girl and I should be supporting the Sisterhood but she pretends she is a guy when she BLATENTLY has boobs and she can't act and bleh)

 

I'd say watch the first six episodes, skip the next five and watch the last two. It had a lot of potential but was drawn out.

 

Though Richard Armitage as Guy of Gisbourne is awesome. Girls should watch it for him! ;)

I wasn't a great fan of the episodes I watched. It seemed a bit unbelievable at times. Nowhere as good as Doctor Who as primetime TV on a Saturday night here in the UK. However, I did Keith Allen was good as the Sheriff.

 

I thought Lucy Griffiths was an attractive Marian, but I have a thing for brunettes!

Yveva and I watched the first episode... and it did not grip me. I figure we will watch one or two more before making a judgment though.

Watch them all...okay entertainment but like Nia mainly for Richard Armitage...lovely...and keith allen is a good sheriff. Robin for me was not charismatic enough for such a role but my little girl loved him and the show (another reason it was watched) and she was 7 ...probably more the age range it was aimed at

I felt like it was ok and had some showy fantastical bits, but there were a bazeelion moments that just popped me back to reality with a "no way could that happen" moment. I think they're going for a grand adventure epic style, but if they're going to do that they have to commit a lot more.

 

And put less eye makup on random women (the fabric dyer's daughter). She just looked like a chav in a medievalish dress.

HAVE PITY! No, it is not historically accurate and yes, I thought the whole fight scene where Robin used the baby as a weapon was ridiculous, but I love it. From the moment that the sniper guy said "I did it, I shot the sherriff," and the sherriff said, "No you didn't you shot the deputy" I was hooked.

Oh my.... I think I want to watch just for that line now...

Glad I can help. It does have it's funny moments, but don't go into it expecting a documentary. I think it is more tongue in cheek.
