I also unreasonably like Priyanka Bose's Alanna for reasons I can't articulate. I even liked her in the trailer. I'm glad to see I'm not alone in that, so something about the portrayal is working even though she's barely been on screen.

    I love the acting for Moiraine, Rand, and Logain so far. 

     

    I have been generally quite negative about the show and think most of the changes to plots and characters haven't been great but his extra material has been superb. It feels completely true to the world of Wheel of Time and Logain from the books.

     

    Nynaeve's wee herb pouch and everything in it was perfection.

     

    Shade Logoth was pretty much exactly how I'd visualised it.

      I agree a hundred percent with this, Mother. I've been staying away from all the discussion threads because people can get toxic. Rather stay on the nice, safe, comforting side of DM. 

     

    As for something I like about the show, I love what they did with Logain, especially in the beginning of episode four, where they showed him sparing the King.

    I think that's great (if a little obvious) foreshadowing for when he gives up Demandred's Sa'angreal to save those people.

    I also think it's a great way to show his character. 

     

    Another thing I loved about Logain was his capture. I loved the pressure he was putting on the Aes Sedai, and

    there was so much great foreshadowing for Rand's time in the box.
