Hi everyone!  Long time book fan here... still remember when I first picked up The Eye of the World in 1990 at the Galaxy Bookshop in Sydney... and the interminably long wait for every new book after that!? 
Luv to see sooo many like-minded fantasy genre fans here.
Hope to be an active contributor as well.

    Maybe that is why I am so invested in the tv series: there is a wait, but it is only 7 days and I can just about handle that after having to wait for years and years and years between books.

     

    That probably also makes me nostalgic...
