Back to these forums after a long hiatus. I was a longtime lurker while I read through the books starting around 2006.

 

I would go on to reread and listen to the audio books while waiting for the next volume to release.

 

All of this was during a time in my life where I, unknowingly, was pretty lonesome. First real job, in a new city with no connections. Looking back, the characters of Randland were a constant companion and source of both escape and comfort.

 

Happy to be back for the new tv series and see things come to life.

 

I want to give a big thank you to all of the staff, admins, moderators...everyone that has kept this site up and running all these years. It is awesome to have an active and thoughtful community to be a part of and discuss this world we are all so passionate about.
