Hi everyone. 

 

I am somewhat new to the WOT series, and I am absolutely in love with the show. However, I just bought the first three books, and I'm wondering which chapter the newest episode (episode six) is closest to in EOTW so I can avoid having to reread most of what I already know.

Poor idea. The show is not really following the books, choosing to tell the story from a different perspective. If you're invested in the mystery of the Dragon Reborn, I'd wait a couple of weeks before starting the first novel.

Like Elder Haman said, the show has made some significant changes to the order of events and added and removed various scenes. It’s probably better to pick one or the other to complete first and then tackle the remaining thing. 
 

And since we have plenty of places to discuss the changes in detail, I’m going to lock this and hope our new friend doesn’t get spoiled for anything.
