Audiobooks

Featured Replies

Hello! I have a small question about the audio books (I'm not sure if this is the best section to do it...). From what I found online Kate Reading and Michael Kramer do all the books and they are very well ranted. But I also found that Rosamund Pike did a new version of the Eye of the World. What do you think about this new version? Which one do you prefer? Do you thing she will do more?

I couldn’t possibly be more impressed with the job Rosamund Pike has done with the audiobook. Personally I find zero enjoyment in the Michael Kramer performances on his version. He comes across as a guy just trying to use a booming voice to sound important. He misses the mark for me. But Ms. Pike…wow. Every character has a voice. She performs the book. It’s amazing. I truly hope they have her record the rest of the series.

Hmm, I really enjoyed the old audiobooks. I'll have to check out the Pike rendition.
