Most Underrated

Ok, i've shoved it here.

films, books, tv, games. Anything underrated.

Like i said before, Event Horizon. Also, the Rocky films. Far too many people will simply refuse to watch them because they feel that's it's all balls and violence.

Yeah Stallones ego and over patriotism kinda spoiled them a bit, but come on. The first, the second and the most recent were pretty damn awesome. There's more too them, there's story, there's feeling and drama and the soundtrack really grabs you.

My GF detested the idea of watching them but after 1, she was hooked and we watched them all that same day.

The Postman, great Flick.

TV- Wonderfalls... what a great show, but it grew up on Fox which cans their shows before they can blossom.

Doctor Who - at least in the US.

If everything were right with the world, Doctor Who would be on the Thursday night prime time network slot, and would have displaced or be crushing CSI in the ratings and would be the highest rated show on televesion. BEST SHOW IN THE WORLD EVER.

(I might be slightly biased )

Freaks and Geeks was another show I liked that was short lived.

I really liked the TV series "Ed". I thought it was a classy tv show.

In movies, I think "White Man Cant Jump" should be considered a modern classic. Plus it has Rosie Perez's boobs in it!

I wouldn't say Firefly is under rated.... just by Fox.

Yeah, but they screwed it over big time. It shoulda had a few more series and atleast one more film.

Anyway, im reviving this to say

AMERICAN GOTHIC

All we got was one series, but man it was bloody brilliant. I can't remember how much the box set cost, but i remember as soon as i saw it i HAD to buy it. Haha, i spent the money that was sposed to last me till pay day and i couldn't afford shopping for that whole week. Love love loved that show. It was and still is just so original, creepy and uberly cool.

When I was a kid there was an ABC series I loved. I think it may have lasted only a couple of seasons, but it was called The Gold Monkey. About this WWII tiger pilot turned sea plane pilot, Jake Cutter and his one-eyed dog Jack. Based in the south pacific. Main character was a lot like Indiana Jones.
