Thank you, once again, the amazing Todd Howard, may he prosper, for having such a game exist with so much ways to break it!

 

I made another Skyrim character (add that to the millions...) and after doing Bleak Falls Barrow, and after talking with Farengar (and etc.) you are supposed to meet Jarl Balgruuf upstairs, at Dragonreach. But if you try to talk to him, he will just say "Not now."... at least until they get upstairs. 

 

I wanted some opinion on a question of mine... and I thought dm's community should satisfy enough. 

Who just continuously makes npcs in Skyrim say "not now", like for example Jarl Balgruuf?

Who makes NPCs say "Not now" as far as the video game development team goes? Or are you looking for a more lore-specific answer?

nah just a joke--if you constantly try to talk to them, they just repeat "not now" until it eventually breaks (yes, it can) and i think it's more of a bug that i would keep... because it's hilarious (as is the rest of skyrim's exploits and glitches)
