Is it just me, or would anyone else have preferred Logain to have been the one to kill Taim? I just think I would have felt a better sense of balance in that. One False Dragon serving the Light takes out the now-Forsaken False Dragon serving the Shadow who had forcibly tried and failed to turn him to the Shadow.  There were plenty of other Dreadlords that Egwene could have "Flamed." Taim should have been Logain's to end.  Thoughts?

Yes, but I can't separate out just how much I wanted Taim to die even if it was from stepping on a rusty nail or something. 

I think if it had happened like that you'd be hearing a bunch of people complaining about how obvious it was. 

I'm surprised I haven't been jumped for Egwene bashing yet at the mere thought of suggesting she not do something. 

I liked Taim's end just fine.  Egwene was kick-ass in the Last Battle.  A true Amyrlin Seat.

 

Logain taking him out would be too obvious.

But yes, he was confirmed to be a darkfriend in the parts you have already covered.  Technically, readers get this confirmation all the way back in 'Winter's Heart' when Rand is in Far Madding.
