The Apple iPod is more than just a well-designed MP3 and video player. It's also a life-saver. The above photo shows a 'Pod that might have saved the life of Kevin Garrad, a U.S. Infantryman in Iraq.

 

Garrand's fourth-generation iPod was blasted by a 7.62mm bullet fired by an Iraqi insurgent. The bullet went clear through the MP3 player, but didn't penetrate his Kevlar armor. Maybe the iPod slowed the bullet just enough to save the guy's life.

Hmmmmm. So does that mean that iPod's are the bible the new generation?? Heh...

Well, at least I don't see Apple sending us on any Crusades in the near future to wipe out all of the infidel mock-iPod users... lol. If I were any more blasphemous, I would almost say that's an improvement! :P
