One of the very small loose threads that has stayed with me since finishing the books is how Alivia helped Rand "die".  She made sure he had everything he needed to start a new life, but left out one seemingly minor but if  you think about it, very important item.  What name was Rand going to use in his new life?  Clearly can't keep his original name.   Not saying this was Alivia's responsbility, but I have always wondered what he would do the first time he met someone.  I probably  have too much time on my hands...
