So given it is the world cup (come on England) :). I got to thinking. 

Horse racing is a common sport in WOT, but are any team sports described, I am struggling to think, on my current read through (book 5 so far) I have not seen anything indicating there are. 

Am I missing something or did RJ just not mention it in his world building? 

Not that I recall.  All individual - horse racing, sword fighting, bows, staves, dice, etc.

 

Well, maybe battles.  Can't have a battle without a team...

There's some children's games, more specifically boys' games, mentioned. One that springs to mind in Lord of Chaos, in Salidar, is when the boys in a rough circle take turns throwing a ball at each other, and trying to dodge it. Birgitte is sort of supervising that game. IIRC, there's a group of boys playing a street game in one of the later books, in Tear.

I was under the impression that Easing the Badger was a team sport...could be wrong, tho'.:D
