Laughs as she's scooped up and gives Dice a tight hug as she's spun around. It's soo good to see you. 😁🤍 I'm good! Very busy lately but doing my best to be around more. It must have been 10 years! So much has happened. I'm on Discord, and even sign in on occasion. lol 

 

And I can't read the last book because then its over 🥲 My current plan is to read it on my death bed

Ah yes, the spoons .... where do we leave those again? Probably somewhere positively dreadful. That's for some future raw recruit to discover though, yeah?

Up to any adventures this weekend?

Had an early birthday party for my kiddo today (his official bday is next weekend but he'll be at his dad's so I celebrated with him and his school friends today 🙂 ) He had an absolute blast!

 

Now we're back home and he's enjoying all of his new toys. I did a bit of writing and am now ready to veg on the couch with a book, if the kid will let me lol

these are the best kind of days....days to savor!

I'm definitely veg'ing on the couch this afternoon...did a nice long run this morning and now in recovery mode.

My attempt at recovery mode turned into attempted problem solving when the child realized the right controller for his vr headset wasn't working .... thankfully I got the warranty plus so gonna be sending that in and we should get a replacement

 

But little reading was done yesterday bc that troubleshooting took far too long

 

Today's plans include some writing, will probably head to the store because we're almost out of peppers for the guinea pigs and the child got cash at his bday party yesterday that he's already asked to go spend lol and my guess is he'll get legos

 

Then hopefully I can truly veg and read today. Hopefully!

 

But my kiddo had an absolute blast at his bday party yesterday - he's made some good friends at school and that makes me happy 🙂 and they know him well because they all got him things he loves - dinosaurs, nerf guns, legos, and a roblox gift card lol

Sorry to hear about the reading side tracking...but it seems that it has gotten worked out for the moment.  @Ithillian Turambar sucked me into a never-ending rabbit hole of a battleship game...so not much reading done on this end either.  But I did get some "couch date night" and re-watched WoT S3/E1 and watched S3/E2 (first time).  Hopefully, hitting the couch again this evening for S3/E3....I am super excited about this show and love where it is going and the mish-mash.  It is like listening to my favorite album...played differently!

And, the light willing...I'll get some LoC re-reading done...I'm falling behind on that.  

It's really good to hear that your son has connected so well with school friends - those memories with my young school friends are some of my favorite.  Our home was at the end of the cul-de-sac; so we always ended up there it seemed.  

S3 has been pretty decent so far hasn't it? As always, a few critiques but overall it's feeling more like wot to me

 

And yes all has worked out well for the moment lol hopefully we get a new controller pretty quick

 

I've read about 20% of a book today but then also took a nap and now I'm back on my wot rewatch - had been going back through from the beginning and am currently on s1 e7

 

It's great to see him make friends - I was always the shy kid and well my son is not lol

Glad to see that the band is kinda back lol.

Yes more MG brew for everybody! I’ve watched episode 2 of season 3. I need to rewatch it. 

Yesterday, I watched episode 4 of Season 3...I'm really enjoying it! 

I need to watch it. I have a few days off after tonight. I got one more night of work and off for a few days. 

Hopefully, it is a very quiet night for you tonight and you'll get to enjoy the episodes soon.  I'm schedule to watch Ep 5 tomorrow night; but I want to also explore some of the additional content, just need to make the time.
