What plain ugly or just ugly?

My surname is rather common in Ireland (by all accounts), yet over here on the mainland of the British Isles, it isn't that common. And my first name is extremely common. It appears for countless generations in my family, and within the first years on my course at university, I can think of at least 4 of us who share this great name!

I wouldn't consider my RL name ugly, it just isn't my favorite, lol! Then again, I often respond just as well to my middle name....its happened before, lol!
