[Movie] A NEW hulk

No disrespect to Eric Bana, but you just got p0wned, my friend. Edward Norton has been cast to replace Bana as Dr. Bruce Banner (pelted by gamma rays, then he becomes The Hulk, isn't he glamorous?) for the new film The Incredible Hulk, which makes an immediate and huge upgrade over the Bana version. Finally, we can respect the big green guy again.

We're hoping that Norton uses all his Primal Fear-style goodness to bring Banner back to life. With the addition of a decent quality actor and (hopefully) a good script, the new Hulk stands a pretty good chance of wiping the original from our memory forever.

They shold have Norton play David Banner instead, and then dump the CGI and hire Lou Ferrigno to portray the Hulk. Dude is still on 'rhoids and huge as hell, it's not like it would take a lot of acting...

or not...

I liked the first Hulk movie, myself. A lot of people were disappointed that it wasn't just two hours of HULK SMASH, but I liked it well enough. Plus, I can't say bad things about anything with Jennifer Connelly in it :P

Edward Norton just doesn't strike me as Bruce Banner, though. Maybe I just have to see him in the role before it hits me. Although I suspect that, after the negative reaction to the last Hulk, it won't matter especially much who plays him in the sequel, because it's probably headed in the exact opposite direction to become as mindless as possible.

Tim Roth.... this movie could be AWESOME!

The Incredible Hulk will be matched against the oversized adversary Abomination, and Tim Roth will play the villain's alter ego, Emil Blonsky.

Variety says Roth is joining Edward Norton and Liv Tyler in the Louis Leterrier-directed film, which is being financed by Marvel Studios and distributed by Universal Pictures on June 13, 2008.

Blonsky is a KGB agent who deliberately exposes himself to the gamma rays that caused Bruce Banner to morph into the Hulk. Blonsky has upped the dosage, making him larger and stronger than the Hulk, but unable to change back to human form. He blames Banner for his problem, and makes his best efforts to destroy the Hulk.

I'm guessing voice work? Maybe motion capture? Because otherwise it would be a bit part for Roth.

Comic book movies are about all that's left to be made... everything else has been done

That movie would be AWESOME niamh. I need to finish up the next story as I am sure we will have more to come....
