Silly Title huh?  Yes I know but I had to ask to see if others noticed what I did or find out if I'm just imaginig things. 

 

It seems to me that during certain scenes in the tv show, I think that Josha is wearing a hair piece and other times it looks like his real hair. 

 

I'm thinking especially in the scene in episode seven, where he's shooting the arrows trying to accept the fact that he is the DR, but there were other scenes during season one as well, I just cant recall them at the moment lol. 

 

Did anyone else who watched the show agree ?

 

Thanks for answering what is a trivial question but I really need to know. 

If he's wearing a hair piece in the 1st season, it's plausible it's in the last 2 episodes that needed reshooting after Covid.

I feel like Barney (Matrim) told him he could shave his head after filming the first 6 episodes, and it was an "Oh shit" moment when he realized they still needed to film episodes 7&8.

He definately had a wig on at times.  Other characters as well.  I cant remember who but I noticed it at time.

Rafe did say the Wigs ended up being a surprising over cost.

And evidently not done well despite the cost if they were so easily spotted. 

I recently rewatched season one and since I had just read this thread, I was completely obsessing the whole time Rand was on screen trying to figure out if he was wearing a wig or not. At this point I’m not sure what his real hair looks like and have no clue what’s real and what isn’t 😂🤷‍♀️

Rand's totally embarrassed about his hair on the cover of MOL, too.
