What would you use them for?

The obvious thing would be for usage at the Battlegrounds, but what else could they be used for?

Ie Sue Sedai has 13 points, Peggy Sedai has 21 ... so what?

Greg Gaidin has 14 points, Tom the Algai has 3 ... what is the effect of that?

How would you earn points? How would they be tracked? Why would we need points? Is this not some nefarious scheme of someone with 46.1k posts wanting to corner the points market and subjugate us all?

 

I guess I am just to wet behind the ears for these kind of discussions and should just WAFO 🙂

Yes, but what would you use the points FOR?

 

I would love to implement a system where people earn points for things like every month of being an active member, participating here, being staff, doing tasks, getting raised, etc etc

 

The question is, what would we then use those points for?

 

Could be used for perks? A special title or a certain amount of points for a graphic... a signature or maybe even an avatar border like discord has now? 

 

Could have a 1st/2nd/3rd points per month that resets and 1st gets a title like.. "Head of the Black Ajah" Or something else fun, I'm failing on ideas 😂

Another idea if you want to incorporate Discord, fancy title/colour for a certain time period. That’s potentially a lot more work on the back end but could be fun

Sorry I have to revive this thread, but where's the guideline for points? I'm stuck as a mentor and I was wondering what I need to do to get the remainder points to become a whatchamacallit? Could someone point me in the the right direction?

Boopsie, are you referring to this speculation about a possible points system for all, or are you referring to what the Aspies must get to be raised? And which specific whatchamacallit? LoL
