We can pick on other people, but only in a comedy club setting with someone decently famous or just starting out.

  • She has been assimilated.  Resistance, go figure, ended up being futile after all.

The hard part is being able to poke fun without actually being caught up in all of it.  My generation was very tolerant of others regardless of their social position.  We even endured narrow minded pig-headed war hawk politicians!  ;D  It's easy to think that being a Tinker would be easy.  It's harder to train your mind to think that way.  Speaking of Tinkers...bye for now.

Err.. GG... If you are like 50 or 60... your generation was LESS tolerant of people than currently.

That's actually back another generation or two - Gwampy would have been in his twenties when they were in office.

55.

Until April Fool's day.

(see siggy below)

Please allow me to clarify.

SOME people of my generation were trying hard to LEARN to have an open mind.

A few achieved it.

Some never did.

Some never even tried.

That's why we still have rednecks today.

That, and country music.

CMT.

And the crew that performs with Jeff Foxworthy.

"You might be a redneck if..."

But, by looking down my nose at them, that makes me less of a Tinker.

I do try.

Really.

Most of the time.

But, unlike the Tinkers, I'm human.

Speaking of the Tinkers, another above average day over there today.

There I go again.

Always so judgmental.

BAD GWAMPY!!!

>:(

P.S.

Please try to remember that I'm full of $h!t and don't let my posts offend you...please!!!

I don't know about the other Blue Collar Comedy guys, but Larry the Cable Guy is a satire character. He's about as authentic as Andrew Dice Clay.

You're only as old as you feel.

Or as old as it says on your driver's license, whichever.

I've been a grandpa for 14 years this month.

Double post in the Tinker thread today.

Included some implied sex and violence just for fun.  ;D

The Pattern weaves it's own design.  ;)

Sometimes the unexpected thread gets weaved into the lace.

Won't be long before he's driving!!!  :o

Won't be long before he's driving!!!  :o

Nonsense, he's been driving for at least a year by now. Just because you haven't caught him doing so...

I found out AFTER his my other son was married that he (the grandson's uncle) had taken "The Beast" for a joy ride when he was about 15.  I don't think my grandson is quite as...spirited...as his uncle was...I hope.  ;)

Best day yet at the Tinker thread!

Even if you're not a regular fan, THIS one is GOOD!!!

I think.  ::)
