  • She has been assimilated.  Resistance, go figure, ended up being futile after all.

Davy Jones...the Monkey man.

Peter Tork...Mike Nesmith...Mackey Dolens.

I don't know if I spelled them right or not...close enough for Lori Redferrnland.

( smiley )

If I keep posting I'm gonna renew my addiction to spam!!!

* considers giving a quick "First Fool of Fiddlesticks" performance. *

* sees the fire in reyler's eyes...the bad kind, not the good kind. *

* chooses NOT to perform. *

Confucius says "a wise man knows when it is best to avoid trying to tickle the tummy of a tigeress".

( yes, I made that up...grin )

That's "Cry Little Sister", though i like the Carfax Abbey cover better than the original.

Well the movie that Cry Little Sister is from is from 1987 (The Lost Boys), and few people of any generation have heard of Carfax Abbey, so there's that.

ah ya I might actually know that. the song I mean.

dance little sister was 1974, off only rock and roll. not a great album but a good enough song.

My sister finished reading my book and she actually enjoyed it!!! Her favorite characters were almost identical to mine which seems mathematically impossible odds to me...we are not much alike. Everyone else that I have talked to who have finished it have different viewpoints from mine. Maybe being raised in the same family really does affect the way that you see things? Not that any of this has spit to do with Fiddlesticks or spam...just checking to see if I needed to put on a show or not...guess not.

( sad, almost crying emoticon )

Bye for now.

  • 2 weeks later...

* looks around the Fiddlesticks performing stage...nods in approval *

I like what you've done with the place.

The gargoyles encircling and looking down at the stage ensures an attentive audience.

What is that...about 10 degree spacing between them?

* tries to count them but can't be sure if it was 35 or 36...shrugs *

Whatever.

It's nice to have all of the light that those torches put off...one between each gargoyle...just right!

Is there a significance to the circle? I won't be turned to the shadow if I perform here, will I?

Why doesn't the light from the torches penetrate the darkness surrounding the stage?

This kind of reminds me of Telenrhoid when the bad guys were having their meeting and the good guys were listening in.

Is this real hardwood or is it laminate?

* stomps his First Fool slippers causing the bells to jingle...shrugs then smiles *

Should be OK.

Let's get this show on the road!!!

* strolls over to the skeleton of last year's Christmas tree that never got taken down *

No needles...could have used a little more sugar water...oh,well.

* pushes aside some of the fake icicles and grabs a couple of the dusty once shiny ornaments *

Nothing a little bit of spit can't fix.

* spits on the balls then rubs them on his sleeve until they shine like new *

Much better!!!

* tosses his balls high into the air *

* watches them fall to the floor and smash into hundreds of tiny shards *

Oops!!!

Guess I'm a little rusty...it's been a while.

Good thing I didn't try throwing knives or shooting my bow and arrow at a live volunteer!!!

=================

Now look what you've got me doing again! I was doing so good...all that time with no spam!!!

Maybe if I don't perform any more for a day or two I might be able to get back up onto the wagon?

Time will tell.

( I use that saying several times in my book )

Bye for now.

Happy holidays!

Love,

Gramps

You might be giving him a little too much credit on that one (or too little, depending on perspective); I expect he really did just mean floor substrates.
