Facts cannot be considered facts in this material plane.  We, as humans, are prone to imperfections, so our 'facts' cannot be taken as facts, but as mere theories we have yet to disprove.

  • She has been assimilated.  Resistance, go figure, ended up being futile after all.

That why I'm a solipsist and therefore believe nothing beyond what my own senses are currently telling me and even they seem kind of shady to me.

Agreed.

You see, we, as humans, are flawed.  Therefore our logic is flawed.  What we perceive to be truths, may, in fact, be falsehoods.  We simply do not have the ability to understand many matters of concern within the universe.  For example, our maths.  We believe 2 + 2 = 4,and take it as fact.  But these are figures we have created.  What if, indeed, 2 + 2 = Strawberry Pogo Stick?  But we take these figures as fact, as we understand them.  But our ability to understand is limited in this mortal existence, and therefore, cannot be absolute.

Broccoli. Like loki's hair. which brings us right back to Norse mytholology.

Life is apparently cyclical.

I saw the press release up there. It doesn't thrill me. What bugs me most is that they're just going to re-release it as one complete book afterwards, which would be the one I'd want. Kind of like how I ignored the theatrical release versions of the LotR dvds to wait for the extended editions. If it weren't for that, I might not mind as much. What I didn't see, and it may have been just due to skimming it, was a confirmation or denial about whether these thirds will be in hardcover or not, as i had seen that they might be paperback only. Unacceptable! I don't buy paperback anymore.

I buy paperback on very rare occasions.  And I mean very rare.  Like, if the book only comes in paperback kind of rare.  I agree, they should be hardback.  Heck, I'd get them and then get the special edition, too.  I'm a sucker like that.
