That's the only thing that'll get me to buy paperback anymore either. They just feel like less of a real book.

Exactly!  Plus, after one read, they're so bent to hell that you wish you hadn't.

That depends on the quality of the cardstock. I've got paperbacks from fifteen years ago that I've read dozens of times that are still in really good condition.

I gotta say the same thing :-\ I've got many paperbacks in like new condition.

Hmm...I obviously handle reading paperbacks a bit differently.  (like folding the book until it's closed...inside-out)

Jeez Toy, why not just rip the pages out and staple them to the wall?  :P

Well, I wouldn't do it the way I do it, if most of the pages had enough space between the word-break and the binding so I could read it! :P
