  • She has been assimilated.  Resistance, go figure, ended up being futile after all.

I cooked with charcoal the other night.

First time in MANY years.

Good flavor.

Expensive.

Takes forever to burn a few burgers.

Something different to do.

Now the wife wants chicken.

::)

When will I learn.

$12 for a brand new grille from Dollar General.

$4.75 for a bag of Dollar General brand self-lighting charcoal.

Three matches (not a very good boy scout).

An hour or so later and...

358/2 Days. I'm trying to get all the way through it. I should probably be waiting until I've got it in English to judge it, of course.

Well, the gameplay is basically the same as the first game, it's just the implementation on the DS. Of course, it might be a different experience on an actual DS, but that's not the point.

Having reaction commands to separate NPC talking from the attack button, plus the camera being assigned to an analog stick, those were good moves. 358/2 Days dumps both of those, and the camera and target lock systems are actually worse due to having fewer buttons to deal with.

I am still annoyed that the missions you get sent on have even less relevance to the game's plot than the Disney worlds usually do.

Enough of it. The only real relevance to the overall plot is that Roxas is chopping up Heartless for the Organization just like Sora gets tricked into doing later on.

The thing I'd like the most to see in a future KH3 is some actual point to having a party, specifically, make me want to swap one of the world-specific characters into my party. Make it matter who I've got in my party. I think what I really want is to be able to take party members like Beast or Aladdin out of their own worlds and into others. Maybe apply a light touch of set character classes. As it is you don't really even need Donald or Goofy after enough time.
