Sahra would have never thought that she would enjoy sharing Sana's attention with anyone even if it was a male, but the news that he had been assigned another mentee meant that the Mistress of Trainees deemed her almost ready for Raising. All they had to do was to go to a mission together where Sahra would prove herself and then she could don the red cloak. Assuming of course that she did well. But she would, she just knew it. She had been so excited and thrilled that she had wrapped her feet around Sana and kissed his cheeks while he laughed. When she had smacked a kiss on his lips, they both had quickly remembered that such displays of emotions were not entirely proper between them, especially not right then as Fior had been on some mysterious mission with Cairma for eight months. She had been ashamed like a dog, not for her impulsiveness since that was what she was like, but for how good the kiss had felt and that she still had any feelings left for Sana. She was with Fior now even if he hadn't been around lately. But he had a good reason - which hadn't been reveleaed to her - and he wrote to her when he could even if it wasn't as often as she wished for.

Shaking the thought off, Sahra sped her jogging pace and reached the boy who she recognised to be Sana's new protegee. The boy was faring as well as you would expect from a rookie in the Yards and she decided to have a bit of mercy on him. He would be tired enough after his first day once Sana was done with him.

"Hey Jekar, time for a break. I promise that Sana won't bite your head off for that. You can finish the rest of your laps after catching your breath for a while. If I don't steal it away, of course", she added with a laugh and run her hand through her hair exaggeratedly vainly.

As the boy followed her under the tree, she realised that he likely had no clue who she was. "Oh, I totally forgot, I am Sahra Covenry and Sana is also my mentor. I have been here for three years already so I know the do's and don'ts and some ways around them." She winked. "If you need any hints or someone to talk to, you can always come to me. How have you found it so far here?"

Following the girl under the large tree Jekar wondered why Sana had never told him of this other student of his. He didn’t let it bother him too long though. After all, it really didn’t concern him much. Listening to her speak she seemed to be a nice enough person, though she did seem to enjoy to talk.

"My time here so far has been all I hoped for and more. I don’t think I need any tips at the moment but I will keep your offer in mind with my thanks to you. As for Sana, Im sure he wouldn’t mind me stopping for the rest of the day, as it is a free one. So now that the introductions are over, why have you come to speak with me?"

Sahra listened the young man speak with a smile on her lips but it turned a bit embarrassed when he said it was his free day. His blunt question about her motive made her arch her eyebrows. Maybe it was just his way and he wasn't being impolite on purpose. She very much wanted to be friendly with the new comers and help them settle and maybe make new mates.

"Lucky you for having a free day. Use it wisely for the torment shall start tomorrow. You'll need all the rest and the good spirits you can gather", she warned with a grin. "Uhh... as for why I spoke to you... well, I like getting to know new people and since we are sharing a mentor if likely not many lessons, I thought that especially we should get acquaintenced. But if you don't care for a company today or in general I can just keep up practicing. If you don't mind me, we could go and eat breakfast to the messhall unless you have been there already."
